The Silver Bullet — Restaurant in East Peoria

I wish I could give this 0 star. Four of us came in to dine and have cocktails and the waitress was "bothered" by us asking if a booth was taken. (It had dirty glasses and such on it.) She rolls her eyes and says with a huff "it will be awhile", rolls her eyes again and walks off. About 5 minutes later, the owner came over cleared the booth and handed us menus. At least 15 minutes later, we still had not been waited on, let alone acknowledged. The waitress cleared a table that had 3 glasses on it. Why? I'm not real sure because nobody was waiting for a table. She walked off to somewhere and reappeared to check on one of her other tables. She then came back to a table across from us and proceeded to clear it. By the way, that was sitting there dirty when we first came in and still never acknowledged us. We then decided to leave and go somewhere else because it was apparent we were never going to get waited on...by this point we had been there for almost a half an hour. Two older gentlemen, that had come in after us, were sitting at the table next to the one she was clearing off and he said loudly to her, with his hands out across the table, "Hey ummm can we" ... I'm sure the next words were going to be 'can we get waited on?' but we were out the door at that point. I am still totally dumbfounded over this experience...as it was not that busy. I don't believe we will be back. Very poor and bad impression for my first time ever...

This place is fantastic! We were in town for the Festival of Lights, and we needed a family friendly sit-down joint. Silver Bullet nailed it! I had the Silver Bullet burger with tots, my gf had the patty melt with fries, and both were excellent! The kids enjoyed their food too! Our server Tiffany was an absolute joy. You can tell she loves her job and is proud of where she works. She was fast and knowledgeable. I wasn't sure how many stars to give the atmosphere. The decor was great. Classic pub meets contemporary sports bar. Music was the right volume. The only downfall was the crowd of regulars at the pool table. I can't complain about them, cuz it's their place, and we were there late. Long story short, eat...

Was there to celebrate my late mother's birthday with family and friends cause that was her favorite place to go.Our server was horrible when I I went up to her after awhile and told her was ready to order she said I will get there when I can,on top of that was over charged 17 and when I said something the drunk owner Larry came over and was rude and had attitude with me.and then told my girlfriend I needed anger management,he needs a server that knows what she's doing and he needs AA and to not come at customers with attitude.There was a reason I stopped going the back in May 2020 when I had my going away party there and he was a drunk rude A## and I don't plan on ever...
