General Opinion:
• The food is slightly above average: best when the right crew members are on staff.
• The environment is usually clean and well kept. The property was recently renovated, so both the interior and exterior provide a sleek / modern look that feels free, open, and relaxing. My favorite feature is the seating options they have available. All of them are interesting, comfortable, and serve different purposes for individuals' different preferences. Tons of natural light flow through the entire interior as well. My favorite sitting spots are these small lunch tables for two which sit next to these large glass windows that allow for great visibility of the outdoor environment and provides a great source of natural light.
• Customer service is severely hit or miss. I personally believe the lady employees at this location do not do their job as efficiently and with the same quality of professionalism & customer service as the gentlemen do. Whenever I walk in the door and see what group of staff are there at that particular time, I can generally assume what my customer service experience is going to be.
• Wait times when ordering inside and dining in can sometimes be ridiculous. Seems like they only prioritize the drive-thru line. At times, there will be literally no one on the front-end at the register where they are able to complete kiosk orders when paying cash or take care of other waiting customers.
Recent Negative Experience:
• A problem I've just experienced earlier today is that despite extremely slow dine-in service, I ordered one of the newly advertised Cajun Ranch Bacon McCrispy Meals at the kiosk. They then served me the sandwich without the Cajun Ranch Sauce, or any sauce for that matter—a dry sandwich. They didn't even bother telling me beforehand. I had to go back up to the counter and inform them of the issue. They came back and told me that they actually weren't supposed to be serving this menu item and because of that, they don't have the Cajun Ranch Sauce available. My only option was to have them go back and put a choice of Spicy Sauce or Ranch Sauce 😑...So I chose Spicy.
So rather than telling me, the customer, that despite this menu item being advertised all over the store, my paid order would not be possible to fulfill and I should either order something else or use a substitute sauce, they instead chose to go and serve me something I didn't ask or pay for, wait for me to find out for myself when I go to take a bite, and rely on the possibility of me either going through the effort of telling them of the obvious omission or letting it be. Obviously anyone would have a problem with 1. false advertisement, 2. lack of communication, and 3. poor customer service.
All in all, both the chicken and bacon were dry and overcooked, they tried to compensate by adding a ton of shredded lettuce for some inexplicable reason—and after all that, they didn't even put a generous amount of sauce in the end.
Conclusion:
• This is my first time in a few years trying a new menu item from McDonald's, and I was very excited. Unfortunately, my experience was ruined and ended up being subpar at best. In my opinion, this is due to the incompetency of staff who lack the desire or willingness to prepare orders with attention and care.
Note:
• If anyone took the time to read all of this, you are a true rockstar. I hope someone finds this review...
Read moreWhen ordering cooked to order foods, everything should be freshly made. Almost everything was fresh except the most important part...the burgers. What's the point of having fresh bread, cheese, and produce if they put cold burgers on the buns. I'd like to add that the only reason I was there was my mom wanted a breakfast sandwich.
This is one reason I stopped eating at take-outs. But I was out of town. You know, different locations in a different state, perhaps different experiences. NOPE! They are all the same.
It's gotten worse since the pandemic. I just can't. Wilted lettuces, brown mayonnaise, cold meat, spoiled looking tomatoes, and old cheese.
It would be different if it were only one location, but there are several locations I've visited with the same challenges.
While most times my visits would be for fries and unsweetened ice tea, sometimes I would order a meal. I started to just ask for the double cheeseburger because the other burgers would come back looking like the items mentioned above. I figured how could one mess up a double cheeseburger? Lol...cold meat!
Cook to order, freshly made, means burgers from the grill, not sitting. We can tell the difference. Also, microwaving an already made burger is not the same as freah. We can tell the difference!
Finally, when someone asks for extra onions, tomatoes, and lettuce, it doesn't mean less. People who asks for extra means either they aren't given enough in the first place or they just love those items and they want more...not less.
Listen to the customers. While I am just posting for this site, please don't think that it's just this store. My only issue with this store is the cold meat. But that is one problem I have found from Georgia to Texas! I just can't with McDonalds in general.
While the costs of the products have gone up over the years, the quality of the products and services have fallen into a deep decline.
As a child McDonalds use to be a treat for me. My grandchildren loves McDonalds because of the treats but I have to take them other places. The places cost a little more, but I get fresh food when I say cook to order. If they don't know what that phrase means, I tell them make it fresh. Then they inform me that I have to wait a few minutes more...I'm good with waiting for fresh food. Granted, I miss the fries and the unsweetened ice tea but the thought of going through the lines makes me nauseous.
I just figured that since I was already in the line, I would give it a shot. Nope! I am done.
Sorry for the excessively long comment. Again, my experience here is a combination of many McDonalds franchises. This really was once my favorite go to places for...
Read moreI advise that you check your order here before you pay for it. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich, they lady repeated it at the drive thru when she asked me to repeat it. I get to the window to pay they give me my receipt bc it was the same Amount of what I ordered. I asked the older lady at the first window, could I add on a small coffee to the girl asked me multiple times getting my order, correct?! The lady told me no I wasn’t able to add anything to that thing a new rule. So, fast forward, I go to the next window to get my food, and I finally look at my receipt as I wait for my food and they rung me up for a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, when I asked for a sausage, egg and cheese, biscuit …( remind you, I had to repeat myself multiple times that I wanted a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit meal) So when the girl brings me my food at the window, I asked her Was my meal a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and she said” Yes”, Her dad I told the lady at the drive-through when I was ordering that I want a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit multiple times, the girl at the window didn’t catch an attitude but then I hear her manager in the back. What’s the hold up? Why she still on the time? Then tell him that I wanted a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit instead of a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and he comes around the corner, putting on lip gloss and says “ OK!” “ Pull up for me and we’ll have it out for you”! Literally, I pulled up, and they came out and brought me my sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. The customer service for me was not up to par only because I didn’t understand why I had to repeat my order multiple times when I spoke loud and clear, and why I couldn’t add on a coffee that would cost me a dollar extra , Also, why the manager that was the guy comes around the corner, putting a lip gloss! Make it make sense, very...
