I have been shopping at Ross for years, but the experience I encountered at this Camp Creek location had made me NEVER want to shop at Ross again. I had purchased a pink sweater dress that had a hole in the shoulder and I didn't realize it. When I arrived, the front end supervisor working the register didn't give the customary Welcome to Ross greeting. I had left my cane in the car and requested a mask so I didn't have to walk back, she seemed reluctant but provided the mask. I asked where did I go for a return.. She told me I had to get in her line. I decided rather than ask for a refund I would check for an even exchange. I come back to her line with 1 item in my hand and she beckons for the person from the next line whose cart is full. When I mentioned I only had 1 item, she says with an attitude I still have to work both lines. The other customer tells her I only have one item and she says since she had rang up 1 item and still had to finish her sale. This lady is doing back to school shopping for her daughter and her mother has a separate order in the cart. Her mom says wait on me next. She proceeds to tell me without explanation that I had to take my return back to the store I purchased it from. I told her that I would still purchase the dress I had stood in line for, but when I asked if the short Caucasian guy was the manager? She said yes he is one of them, but I am a manager also, I told her to void my sale. I have lived in several states and if Ross has lowered its standards to promoting someone with that kind of demeanor to management I need to shop elsewhere. I proceeded to speak with the gentleman who was in fact the manager who said she was a front end supervisor and explained why I would've needed to return it to the purchasing store, but processed the transaction for me with the professionalism I expected. However, when I returned home and thought about my overall experience I decided to return the dress and decided to look for it elsewhere. Well lo and behold I run into another cashier who tells me I am going to have to take a partial store credit. Thank goodness the same manager was on duty and refunded all my money but the overall experience is not one that makes me want to return to Ross anytime soon. Had it not been for the expertise and professionalism of the store manager I would try to give that location a negative 5 rating. That front end supervisor needs to be a cashier again until she learns the process of what is required from your...
Read moreI did not want to even give them 1 star. This is the worst place to shop, due to the cashier (idk her name , the tall and skinny one) being so rude and racist. As we were walking towards her she made a nasty face towards us because we had 2 buggies full...... I mean it is Christmas time . So , I ignored her. I smiled and I said âhey how are youâ & she ignored me. She then started to talk to the security about how she wanted to be off because her cousin from Jersey was visiting.... & how she doesnât understand why people want to waste all this money on Christmas.. to make long story short. I had to pay for my things first so my fiancĂ© left his stuff in the shopping cart. So , she said it in a very disrespectful manner âYALL NEED TO PUT EVERYTHING ON THE COUNTER YALL CANT LEAVE ANYTHING IN THE BUGGIEâ. I just looked at my fiancĂ© and responded to her , we know but we are making 2 separate transactions. She rolled her eyes and was huffing and puffing the whole time . So he checked out and tried to pay with his new card and he forgot to activate it. So thatâs when misses racist wants to question us if we had a social security to have a credit card ?????? And from there she was just being nasty and rude . I donât know if she was having a bad day because she wanted to see her cousin that is visiting or that she hates her job ? I donât know but if youâre Hispanic avoid going there please! They will mistreate Hispanic people...itâs sad that some minorityâs forget that we are in this...
Read moreI will never spend my money here again. I shopped at the Ross Store in East Point Camp Creek Marketplace Sunday 8/24/2025, spent $130.48 and was treated like shit from the manager China and her staff. I found 2 beautiful wood carving wall art decor pieces that were 4ft.wide and 4 foot tall. and Im 5'2 senior grandmother. The wall art is in the back of the store and I needed to bring to the front register. In my efforts to pick up 2 wood carvings I ask the lady working the fitting room if I could borrow the basket behind her to bring the art work to the register. The girl stared beyond me and never answered. I asked her again and she responded "She Said No". I asked who is the "SHE" she was referring to? and she said the store manager named China the manager that walked passed me ask I was asking to borrow the basket. So the Store Manager saw me struggling and heard me ask to borrow an empty basked sitting to the back of the fitting room and never offered to help or send help. How unprofessional. I had to try to drag both pieces of art that were more than half my size across the store without breaking them or anything around me and the manager named China knew I needed help. who does that. Never again. This store manager does not value customers shopping at her store. I will shop at another Ross Store and hope to never come in contact with Store Manager named China at East Point Camp Creek...
