First of all, they did not mention that we needed to pay for food and drink prior to the order being submitted. Took someone about 15 minutes. Then, when she did come to the table, she looked like she was scared to speak! We asked for a menu, and she said we have to use a qr code. We ordered a coors light and proceeded to look at the menu on our phone. We kept wondering where the beer was. Then she came back and was like, "You ready to order!" We placed our order, and she left. She came back with a receipt saying we had to pay first before we got our drink or food. I asked about the beer, and she was like, "You had to pay first. Then she brought back a 6oz plastic cup of beer, which was $6.00. I was put off to order. I would have to wait another 25 minutes for my drink. Mind you, only 6 people were in the seat area and two at the bar. I then noticed the 15% tip was already added to the total. Now I understand the rudness and her not coming back to the table to check on us. Also, they have wonderful gadgets where you can swipe the cards in front of the customer. She took wayyyyyyy too long with my card. If they get the tip up front, they don't feel they have to be hospitable. Oh, they did a $15.00 extra hold on my card. $56.61 was my total (Buffalo wings, 4 while wings, 6oz beer, and fries). I had to walk to the bar to ask for a box for my food. The bartender acted like I was bothering her with her one customer. If you want the money for orders upfront, I can get that! But not the tip (gratuity). Then, the want a be hooter girls would need to work for the tip. Then I bet the customer service would be a lot better. When you have to work for your money you have a better attitude. The world owes you nothing! BTW, Accent, MSG is not good to ingest.

I came here for takeout at 1:30 in the morning February 17. Where is act like they did not see me. I had to acknowledge them to make an order to 30 minutes to get the order to the order home only to realize there was not a lick of seasoning in the pastas. I also bought wings and fries and they were old as well, the wings felt like they have been sitting out in the fries were rubbery because it was too late. I couldn’t go back that night. I call back when they open same day February 17, 11 AM only to be told that they don’t do refunds and they will not make the food over , the manager I talk to basically try to blame me for not coming back to the restaurant not knowing where I came from and even if I had time to do that I’ve been going here for years and never had this type of problem. Oh yeah and they also gave me Alfredo sauce that tasted like water and flour , there was no sauce on the pasta and just this time and overall bad experience. I suggest you try to order from them at night check your food before you leave because they will not fix it for you. I spent $100 for takeout to be treated like nobody

We came to the U Bar on 5/19/19. Our server was Brittney (short dark skinned petite). She was very unprofessional, rude and unpleasant. She attempted to close out our checks without notifying us of their cash out policy. My friends and I were still drinking and partaking of the hookah that we pre-paid for. The hookah price she quoted was $25.00. I gave her $30.00. However, she never offered my change. After we informed her that we were not ready to leave, she I instantly got an attitude and stormed off. She never came back to our table after repeated requests from other servers to return to our table. When she finally showed up, we asked to have our hookah coals replenished. She shook her head and walked to another table to take another patron's order. When she returned with our replenished coals, she slammed it on top of the hookah holder and stormed off. She was so abrupt and rude, that she failed to put the top back on the hookah. We requested a manager to explain our issues regarding her service, and was told that he would remove her and send another waitress. He told us that we would be able to provide review when we paid our bill. Another waitress showed up. However, Brittany came back to close out our bill. Needless to say, we were not afforded an opportunity to fill out a survey regarding her service. She conveniently left that portion off of the bill. We are grateful there is a review online which provides us n opportunity to air our grievances regarding her lack luster service. Brittany needs to be reverted back to waitress service, because she clearly leaves lot to be desired in the area of service. She...

Arrived about 3pm with my family, I promise there was less than 30 people in the building so no excuse will be accepted. We ordered our food and drinks for the waitress without notice to hand us our check BEFORE we got our food, basically on some pay before you eat but we are IN the restaurant…this was not takeout.

My mom tried to pay 3 times with their machine before the waitress “finally realized” that their machine was broken so she had to get a new one yet offered no apology for the inconvenience.

Fast forward, I ordered the JUMBO fried shrimp and grits with peppers, onions, and Alfredo sauce. I received PLAIN, unseasoned grits with SMALL shrimp AND IT WAS COLD…I waited 40 minutes for my meal! Then after 50 minutes, my brother’s fries that he waited for were cold and the wings were dry like that had cooked early morning. My mom got the Chicken Quesadillas and they were also cold but she was the last to receive her food.

We talked to the manager ANTONIO and he offered NO refund or discounts. Overall, this place sucks, please don’t waste your time or money. Drive past this horrible restaurant and go to McDonald’s instead. At least you know what you’re getting with them and the fries are piping 85% of the time.

Update (5 days later): The waiter was trying to steal for us! She swiped my mom’s card three times and told us only the last transaction went through…TURNS OUT, the second and last transaction went through and she knew that! This place got some thieves man, please do not go here again like I said before. Overall, the service is fraudulent and trash and the food is overpriced...
