MC's Pizza: Burgers, Subs, and More — Restaurant in East Providence

Me and my fiancé ordered burgers from MCs this evening. We ordered 1 cheeseburger as they come just adding bacon, and one with just tomato, pickles and mustard. When they delivered we discovered they put the bacon on the burger that was only tomatoes, pickles and mustard. My fiancé HATES mustard, and his bacon was swimming in it. So we decided to call back to see if we could get the burger corrected. The owner of the establishment was the one to answer, he was first arguing that they were right because he took the order himself, and then when he repeated the order back that’s when he realized they did the order wrong. But then once he realized the order was indeed wrong, he argued that it was because we added bacon. That once you make modifications to an order that’s how mistakes are made. I was a restaurant manager for 8 years. Never would I argue with a customer when they were wrong, let alone when they are right! Then when the new burgers were delivered they didn’t replace the fries. So here we are eating cold soggy fries because they’re not smart enough to take and make orders with simple modifications. Incredibly horrible customer service. Will not be bringing service to this establishment again and encourage others...

As a previous fan of MC's Pizza, I am very disappointed in the quality of my last couple orders. Yesterday, I ordered a large pepperoni pizza which I usually enjoy from this establishment. What I was given had me confused. At first glance, I noticed all of the pepperonis were underdone and also fully intact, as in they weren't cut when the pizza was sliced. The same goes for the cheese on top being fully intact. Also, the undercarriage of the pizza was covered in raw flour. The only explanation I could think of was that this is an old cheese pizza that was repurposed to be my pepperoni pizza. They must have thrown some cheese and a few pepperonis on top of a display pizza and tossed it in the oven for a couple of minutes. I'd hope this is a one time mistake but I think it's more likely that this is a regular practice at MC's and yesterday I just happened to be the unlucky patron to get this abomination. It was a decent run but I won't...

Only reason this got a 3 on atmosphere it's not really a dine in kind of pizza joint can if in a pinch...but now to the important part...the food. Ill start with the wings...if your portuguese or from cape Verde do yourself a favor get the picante wings please..wings were nice and crispy and tasted like mulho vilho like your grandmother makes. My wife and I got two small pizzas to try since it's under new owner ship and did not dissapont pizza was well cooked and crispy with a nice airy crust. Staff was great and the owner was kind enough to let us sample something new that he will be adding to the menu (word of advice when he does get some i won't spoil it but cooked perfectly and not greasy at all.) I will continue to support this local gem and can't wait to see what new things are...
