Buddy's Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in East Ridge

For starters, I ordered a large beverage and instead was given a medium like my spouse ordered. We had a coupon for a free dessert, and when given the choice to have it now or later, we said later, they confirmed, and then started making it anyway. When the food was ready, I was not given the hushpuppies that come with it and had to ask. Since it was my first time, i got the combo dinner plate with brisket, chicken, and ribs. There is no wonder the bottomless ribs are so inexpensive on saturdays as they tasted like smoked hot dogs, but tougher in texture. The chicken was so dry I only had a few bites and could not eat any more. The brisket was ok, nothing to write home about. I had heard from someone that their potato salad was good, but it was no better than publix potato salad. Same with the baked beans. Hushpuppies were hushpuppies, nothing special except that they have people walking around offering you more. Although, I would not say that I advise eating them alone unless you have left over beverage with which to moisten your mouth. My spouse says the dessert was good, but was not worth coming for the meal.

In my opinion, the best part of the meal was the Mr. Pibb from the fountain. With there being so many moderately priced barbecue places around town that are much better, I can say with confidence that I will not...

I ordered my food as a to go order. I was sitting there for a over 5 minutes waiting on my order and another customer who came in after me order was called before mines. So I walked up to the front to ask where's my order and I saw a bag sitting on the counter and I asked is this mines and he said yes. So my food was sitting there getting cold and he never called my number to pick up the food, but he can be on his phone. I thought that was inconsiderate of him. The food was super cold when I got back to my hotel which was only 10mins down the road so the food should had been warm still. The brisket had no find of flavor even when you put that sauce on it which was not good. They need to have a variety of BBQ sauce available because that one was not it. The baked beans taste like the can and I thought baked beans are a little sweet. The Mac and cheese no flavor what so ever. My daughter had a brisket sandwich just bread and brisket nothing else on it so dry. Everything was so bland. I couldn't eat my food I had to throw it away. I will not be going back just a...

I went in last night to order take out for my family. I told the cashier that the last time I was there I ordered a family pack with 2 extra side orders of fries but when I got home there were no fries. So I'd like to add them to my order tonight. He asked for my "documentation." I didn't have any so he asked what manager I spoke to. I told him they were closed by the time I called and I just figured I would take care of it next time I came in. So I asked to speak to the manager tonight, he said I'm the manager so I told him the story again and asked if he would honor my request. Keep in mind I already spent over $40 there last time and was about to spend over $20 but he wouldn't budge on a couple side order of fries, I politely asked him if this was the business decision he wanted to make.
