So i go to wendys (different locations) at least 3 to 4 times a week sometimes breakfast sometimes a snack sometimes dinner wendys is the only fast food restaurant I even eat at anymore I used to eat all of them but wendys quality of meat is better and the food is better than competitors.....well in the last 2 days I've stopped at the east ridge location twice I never ever complain never take food back never call the manager none of that im not a complainer (I've worked in the service industry waiting tables many years) well yesterday the girl at the window was as rude as ahe could be she held the bag out the window and said here and then I asked for salt she rolled her eyes and said here ok....I left and though ok rude....well tonight I go again for a late night snack and they had about 3 cars in the drive thru in front of me no problem I get to the window this girl is hollering at everybody in the store goes away from the window hollering about how she cant deal with this she's supposed to leave at 11 well it was 10:26 ok I had a reward code to scan that made her mad ahe scanned it and it went off my app she opens the window I need to scan it again I said well its gone now so she's grabbing her head being extremely dramatic three other workers are standing there just looking another girl comes to the window asks what the coupon was for I tell her she tells the other girl that was originally there and I guess she's entering it in the computer laying her head down on the counter hollering oh my god oh my god I can hear this through the window with the window shut ok so I give her my card again she's hollering come on come on comes back to tell me my card is not reading (literally just used it at the gas station not even 2 min ago and I've never had card read errors before) so I asked do u take tap to pay she says nope not at this register so I give her a different card it reads....Thank God well while she's over here still holding her head in her hands another person brings my food and I tell him wow she needs a different job...... I got no spoon for frosty i got no napkins in my bag and they didnt wven ask did i want a receipt but i dodnt get one of those either. Also this is probably the messiest food ive ever gotten from a wendys.....i didnt compain while i was there i was nice and calm the entire time....ill never cop an attitude with anybody messing with my food im not stupid....I mean I have worked in plenty of restaurants never fast food but none the less I get it but I have never in my life behaved in such a childish unprofessional way idc if you scrub toilets or if you are the presidents right hand man have a little dignity and pride in the work that you do and you can act professional no matter what job you have....hey wendys east ridge yall need a new crew.....but I digress..I will not go back to this location ill drive the extra miles and go to ringgold they dont act like...

Placed an order on the app then pulled to the window to pickup. They had my order, but it was incomplete. Two items were missing. No problem, things happen. I pulled up my receipt from the order I placed in the app and clearly showed them there were a couple items missing. Instead of making this right, the manager said he “can’t give away stuff for free” and not we wanted the food we would have to buy it. WHAT?? I already bought the food. Clearly it was some sort of online ordering glitch, which is fine, but it’s so very unacceptable to refuse to make it right in this situation. I clearly displayed that I ordered food that I didn’t get. I was at the pickup window. This was not after the fact. This was not days later and based on hearsay. This was at the exact moment and they refused to give me the food I paid for. So crazy.
I followed up with John the GM at this location on the next Monday and all he did was defend his manager’s decision and compare our situation to someone coming to their restaurant days later with a receipt from another Wendy’s and saying they were missing an item. I don’t even know what else to say on this. Customer service at its absolute worst. Should have gone to Chick-fil-A. Definitely will next time.

Read more7 April 2024 @ approximately 1730 my family stopped at this location and upon waiting in line witnessed a young man working the fry station without gloves on. He was taking the fries off the fry station with his bare hands dropping them in the serving tray. He was taking fries out of the serving tray rubbing them on the metal part of the station (as to maybe be wiping salt to the fry) then placing them back in the serving area where he would box fries. The young man would fill the fryer basket and pat the uncooked fries with his bare hands into the fry basket. I immediately brought this to the manager on duty attention as she stood in drive-thru. With much attitude she stated “ he is not required to wear gloves on the fry station that is his only job”. I stated “ That is unsanitary, as he could wipe his nose, his butt or anything and touch food. I find that hard to believe that is Wendy’s policy”. The manager stated “ I am the manager I know the policy, look I am doing the best I can”. I am insulted that this manager would say with a straight face that Wendy’s allows this unsanitary behavior. This definitely questions what other unsanitary things this manager allows to transpire at this location.
