My experience was aweful. I normally don't leave reviews but after my experience and waiting to see if anyone would contact me after leaving my information; I have been left uncontacted. So, I figured to leave a review. The waitress clearly didn't want to stay to take care of our table. Blamed the bartender for cutting our table off after just one drink and couldn't give us a reason as to why the bartender cut our table off. The girls sitting at the bar were way louder than we were. The bartender said he didn't cut our table off and didn't know what our waitress has told us..she wanted us gone clearly. So horrible to treat customers in such a way. This was a celebration for me from my coworkers for finding a better opportunity job/leaving. I honestly want to do a redo at a different location. Because she really set an unpleasant mood for our table for the rest of the evening. She wasn't kind, we started to order the drinks directly through the bar and waited for our food. Another server had to bring us our food because she couldn't look us in the face after the bartender was confronted and she was clearly cought in her lie. She had a sour face from the moment we stood around waiting to be seated till we left. Which we waited so long to be seated we almost seated ourselves because we haven't even been greeted and thought that just was how this bar works. So disappointing I hear such great things about this bar but after Monday night I don't want to return and rather spend my money where at least the server wants to do thier job and is happy about it? (I'm just confused because we had a decent bill which she would have made a decent tip if her attitude didn't suck) Our table was full of people that have worked as servers at one point in life, and felt that she also was cutting off the bartender from making his tip because of her selfish need to want to leave. There clearly is no team work between the staff. I know good help is hard to find these days, but bad help isn't worth the price because the other 4 people I was with also won't be returning. Customers this business has lost...
Read moreHad high hopes for this place while on vacation in Poconos, but was one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. I guess the very young, overworked, seasonal staff is what it is - think bartender who looked 16yo just coming over and instead of clearing dirty glasses in front of me or even saying "hello" says "know what you want?". After asking for the bar top to be cleaned and requesting a menu, he got mad and smacked it down and ignored me afterwards - he needs to be retrained BADLY. After silently waiting 15 min, eventually I got up and moved to a table - No better there. Sweet girl as waitress, but waited 20 minutes for everything, she said she "didn't know about beer" when I asked about the selection...I guess she did her best. But, management no where to be found as the place went down in flames. All the tables covered in dirty plates, no one getting thier checks or drink refills, etc..etc.. Total disaster. I politely said this was not going well, and surprise, no apology, manager, nothing. I suppose if you're a Yuengling and a burger sort of guy, this'll be great on a SLOW night. But, anyone looking for any kind of actual service, knowledge, trained staff, or proper management, you're out of luck. Too bad - great location in a touristy area, but you guys blew it....on a Monday night?!? Lord help you...
Read moreWow. Wow wow.. WOW. Truly blown away by the first class customer service that I, and every SINGLE patron in this building received 4.28.24 circa 3:00 to 5pm. NOLLA.. NICOLE.. & GABI (I had to ask for their names, they were that good.), were like high ranking Generals leading troops into battle, through the utter chaos, comprobable to WW3 (as seen in the Terminator series, great films btw). The scene was set by it being the hottest day of 2024, which was foreseen in the weather forecast. And yet no one was prepared for the volumes of customers derailed saw on this most auspicious day. It felt like I was reliving the beach invasion of Normandy on D-Day, and before you even ask.. yes I was present. I have lived past lives and that was one of them. Each young lady handles every request expertly and sat each party in a timely matter. It felt like I was watching Artists of the Era of DaVinci, Michaelangelo, and whoever it was who paint the Mona Lisa. Each guest was served to satisfaction in an environment that would have broken anyone else. THANK YOU Gabi, THANK YOU Nicole, THANK YOU Nolla. and most of all. THANK YOU Derailed. For having the foresight to hire employees who will make sure even through the busiest if times, feel like I was the...
