Our neighbors, my husband and I were looking forward to going here for an outing to have drinks and a light lunch. We went on a Saturday and arrived around 12:30ish and sat at the bar. The bartender greeted us but we didn’t see him because he was crouched down behind the bar. No biggie. The four of us sat at the bar-there was two others already there and a group of three that also walked in and sat at the bar. We waited approximately 10 minutes before the bartender started asking everyone at the bar what we were drinking and that he would make them all at once because it’s easier. Again, not a huge deal. However, when he began sharing that he just ate the spicy chicken sandwich (from the establishment) he started not feeling good, was sweating and had puked three times-I was in shock. Mind you not quietly..we was sharing this with the whole bar to the point a couple people from the other group at the bar said no more details that’s gross. He kept going on about how he didn’t feel good and said he was closing after we were done and turned a couple away that entered the bar. Someone else ended up coming in to cover but we couldn’t believe how unprofessional he was. We were going to stay for a few drinks and appetizers but ended up leaving after one just because. I get when you don’t feel good, but three things: don’t blame it on your establishments food and tell customers not to eat it, don’t share disgusting info when you’re making people drinks and serving their food, and have a little more class when working for a place that is held to higher standards. I’m sure at some point we will try again-I would really like to try their food but this left a bad taste in my mouth unfortunately. I left 2 stars for the review because the expression martini...
Read moreIt is super rare that I give bad reviews. I understand that life happens. Tonight my wife and I drove an hour to come here for our birthday dinner. Hers was last week my is next week. upon arrival we were met with a packed restaurant. however we were the only ones waiting. we decided to have a dinner on the deck. While we were waiting they brought out the papers and we got the first one. The place was filling up. We helped ourselves to the bar while we waited. after we got half way through our drinks, a couple showed up next to us and ordered a drink. we then after a 45 minute wait got another drink. we were having a great time. T he couple that came in 20 minutes after us had their pager go off and were led outside to a deck table. I was a little concerned as we got the first pager of the night. When we asked what happened, we were told by the waitress that the lady in the other party yelled at them and insisted they be seated before us. I asked to speak to a manager and while he was very nice, the best answer he had was we open at 11am tomorrow. Bro, I drove an hour because we had heard good stuff. I am sad that people are so out of touch with being nice that they don't care about others feelings. As a First Responder, I put everyone before me. I wish the restaurant the best and I sure wish I could have enjoyed a birthday dinner...
Read moreWe came from out of town. Honestly, we should've left when our server 1st came to the table, but we didn't. I ordered the spinach Alfredo dish with chicken. My friend ordered the salmon because they didn't just have a grilled chicken dinner in the menu. We asked our server, and she told us no, we can't do that here. At any rate, food came out, and the broccoli in my pasta literally was not cooked at all. I mentioned to my server, and she rolled her eyes and said well I see what the kitchen says. So she comes back and says they agreed with you it wasn't right so they are making you new. Great, meanwhile, the amount of salmon was so small that I gave my guy friend most of my pasta dish to fill him up and just ate the garlic bread, which was the best thing i had there. The broccoli finally comes out after we are done eating it was steamed and buttery made like it should have been the 1st time. We got our bill and paid, and the sever literally said to us (no joke) she said, "Next time you should go to the boat house down the street. " I can't make this stuff up. It's kind of unbelievable, but needless to say. I wish we would have left when we got our wine. The atmosphere is wonderful, and maybe she was just having a bad day but no reason to take it out...
