Taco Bell — Restaurant in East Tawas

I ordered three soft shells tacos with just meat and cheese and as I check (because I know how smart fast food employees are) I see lettuce on my taco. I go up and ask nicely if I can get a new one with just meat and cheese and the gentleman at the front said sure. But then this old lady from the back comes around like she's been waiting for me to come and said with some b!tchy attitude and said " Don't do that. He didn't order that, check his receipt. I already threw my receipt away so there wasn't anyway to prove if I did or not. Now mind me that Tacobell has billions of dollars and pays there workers next to minimum wage, so if a customer comes up and says that they got one thing on their order wrong you would get a new one for them and day have a nice day. This happened to me at mcdonalds and I went up the same way I did at tacobell and asked for a new one. The lady said "Sure, I'm so sorry about that. I'll get it right now." After I sat back down when the lady said I couldn't get a new taco. I ate the rest of my meal. Then after I was done I stood up staring at the old women (blonde hair and wrinkly face) to show that I wasn't mad I didn't get my taco, but the fact that she had the audacity to wait for me and deny my 2 dollar taco because "I ordered it wrong" I hope this message is seen by the worker that did this to me so you can do better at work and at...

This is the most expensive Taco Bell around. I came back from LA last week, the prices in LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA were significantly cheaper. We're talking a place where gas costs over 5$/gallon. Taco Bell is cheaper there. It's cheaper in Oscoda as well. This location in particular taxes for being in a tourist town only there are no tourists most of the year and the locals end up paying more. If they charged normal prices they would get more orders and make more money. Raising prices is not the answer to low customer counts. Good luck spending less than 10$ a person. You want to add beans? Just under a dollar for a scoop. No serious amount of "but inflation!" justifies the price hikes seen here. The build your own combo deal was 5$ for AGES, even in late 2023, now it's over 10$ (3/14/24) how do you double the price over the course of a month or two and think that's fine people will keep doing this. It's cheaper to go to Mango's in Tawas and get authentic Mexican food. The ownership needs to take notice and change course. Stopped in to grab some lunch and was disgusted at the way a manager treated an employee that put in their 2 wk notice because they acquired other employment. She repeatedly called this poor woman a liar infront of everyone. She claimed she was not telling the truth about why she was putting in her notice. This is disgusting behavior to do infront of customers and staff. This General Manager named Trista should be fired for the way she behaved infront of customers and employees and for the way she treated that poor woman. I now know why she sought other employment. If she is treating her that way infront of everyone I can only imagine how she treated her and others behind closed door's. Come to find out another employee walked out today. DO BETTER TRISTA.
