The process of getting hearing aids was amazing from start to finish. The women at this HearUSA provide excellent customer service. All of my questions were answered. They both made me feel like family there.
Cathie explained to me the benefits of treating my hearing loss early to help with my cognitive function. I guess it is true that friends and family will notice your hearing loss before they will notice your hearing aids.
The hearing aids are discreet and they even connect to my phone, which has made answering phone calls a breeze.
I cannot say enough amazing things about this location and HearUSA. Cathie, the audiologist, is very knowledgeable and well versed and it shows. She understands audiology inside and out. She showed me exactly how to use the hearing aids. Explained how to clean them and the proper location to charge them (away from moisture).
The receptionist, Alexis, was very accommodating in helping me schedule the appointments. Alexis is knowledgeable and has always answered my questions when I have called. If she didn't have the answer she was sure to call me back with the answer. She was able to help troubleshoot with a phone call, avoiding a trip to the office.
Thank you to HearUSA Tawas City. I really appreciate the customer service. And thank you for your...
Read moreAlexis was friendly, respectful, caring + helpful. So different from the W.B. office of Hear USA. I look forward to following with them in the future. I started in the Bay City office 6 years ago, but with the closest 2 bridges now imposing a $5.50 toll each way, I don't want to use them. Only one of the 2 remaining bridges is open. I don't want to give Bay City, in general, (not Hear USA)any more of my business. So glad there is a Tawas City office. Update April 2025. Again my visit with Cathleen and Alexis was not only very pleasant but also informative. I had never been shown how to effectively clean my hearing aids. I was afraid of being too rough. Cathleen explained how & also suggested my return appt should be before my warranty runs out in September. What a great group of ladies. Will definitely continue with the Tawas office. UPDATE Sept 2025- my last visit for cleaning under the warranty. Kathleen was friendly, informative and helpful. This visit was again up to their excellent standards. We discussed cleaning cloths specifically made for hearing aids, some thing that wasn't brought up at the other 2 locations. It's a 40 mile (one way) trip for me, but certainly worth it. Looking forward to continuing my association with this Tawas office....
Read moreReceptionist and technician were both rude. I had an appointment with my 4 year old and they could barely be bothered to look at me. The reception in particular never said a word to me, never looked at me once. I do customer service for a living, this was a poor example. I was about 10 minutes late, but I called ahead of time and apologized profusely while explaining that I would be late. When I arrived, they treated me like scum. The appointment was for my child and the tech was fine with her, but those ladies weren’t even trying to hide their odd disdain for me. When I had concerns and questions about the results I received for my child’s hearing test, the tech basically said that I would just have to talk to her doctor about it. I was so confused when we left. About my child’s well-being and about what I did to deserve the attitude I received. Sorry I was 10 minutes late… with notice. Won’t happen again,...
