I visited Great Valley diner / grille to have a quick breakfast at this location with my friend after a long tennis match. It was right on Lancaster Avenue that it was easy to locate, with plenty of parking. Inside the restaurant there were specials board, we were greeted and asked to sit anywhere we prefer, there were probably four tables occupied at that time. The ambiance of the restaurant inside is definitely good for a diner. As we were handed out the menu, we were asked about anything to drink, and we ordered coffee and orange juice. The menu looks very good with a wide range of breakfast and non breakfast items, and some of them had some Greek influence dishes as well. I ordered a stack of pancakes and house hash browns with onions and peppers. My friend ordered French toast with banana and walnuts. We got our coffee very quickly, and I ordered it with milk. However, the milk doesn't taste good, but the coffee was okay. When I got the pancakes the pancakes were cooked perfectly fine and hash browns was the highlight of the breakfast I enjoyed it thoroughly we were handed out the check, we paid and we walked out overall it was a a very good experience, I would have rated five stars if the coffee was provided with the right quality of milk. I will definitely visit this place again to try non breakfast menu items they looked very good . It's definitely worth the place. Try it,and you will definitely like it. It looks like a locally owned, and you...

My girlfriend her Grandmother (Nana) and myself stopped at around 1230 for some lunch. We were greeted quickly told to sit wherever we liked as the restaurant only had one other guest eating. My first impression was the restaurant seemed outdated. The chairs, booths and tables could use an upgrade. The floors were dirty too. Nana initially ordered the flounder but they were out so she got boneless wings instead. I got traditional wings and a burger and fries , my girlfriend got a burger and fries as well. The young man who took our order brought our drinks out quickly.

The wings came out quickly they were hot. The burgers came out were hot also, the toppings were crisp. The fries were hot. Overall the food was good. While we were eating another hostess cleared off the table behind us without checking on us at all.

Service was a bit lacking as our host did not ask us how our meal was and did not offer to refill our drinks. After eating we waited several minutes expecting our host to bring us our bill. Finally I approached the register where the host advised me to pay at the register.

Overall the experience was ok though the service and cleanliness could...

I was going there regularly 5 times a week for a month but went there this morning ordered eggs over easy with a side of spinach. I was asked why I didn't just get the omelette that comes with spinach and broccoli but I always get that and wanted something slightly different from the same old same old. I told the kid I want to mix the spinach potatoes and runny eggs together. He didn't seem to understand that I wanted the spinach sauteed so he came out with a plate of raw spinach lol. He said is this what you want I said no take it back forget the spinach. I was very disappointed but ate my food and will never return. I understand that it's not on the menu but this was just a simple request nothing complicated I told him it doesn't make sense to mix raw spinach with over easy eggs. It's really just common sense and laziness by the kitchen to not accommodate a regular customer I tip every time I go there. There is no music in the background and they are just a typical breakfast place that wants your money and hurry you out ASAP. No pretty...

I was expecting a bit too much maybe from reading some of the other reviews. I wasn't extremely impressed. The food was so-so and the service was lacking. Especially since there was only one other table occupied besides us. I was super excited about trying the meatloaf tower, which is a neat idea. Unfortunately, the meatloaf had lots of filler. So much so that it didn't taste like meat. Was not very good. I had ordered broccoli 🥦 as my side, but it smelled odd. It had a sour smell to it, like it was bad. The waitress was nice enough to take it back and bring green beans. The green beans however tasted like soap. Almost as if they cooked them in a pan that wasn't washed & rinsed properly. I didn't want to complain again, so I let it go. My husband ordered chicken croquettes (one of his favorites) and said they were ok. Of course, my son loved his chicken tenders and fries🍟. Hard to mess those up.

Great Meal in every regard, had the Cheesesteak & Stromboli, Cheesesteak came with fries, Stromboli with Marinara, very tasty. Stromboli was a little too toasted and the Cheesteak was a little greasy, but that doesn't keep me from five stars, shows it was made by an actual person. Cons: a little pricey and the staff was professional but underage for work but I came on a Sunday so it doesn't seem like they were missing school or anything. Again, minor gripes, still very good. Verdict: definitely coming back, we'll probably try the pasta next time!
