Needs to be brought up to standard with the other locations. A Tony Gemignani Slice House in a new region (nevermind new location) is meant to orientate people to a higher standard of pizza, unfortunately this location is verging on mall food court territory. Hope they get things in working order soon. This visit required remake, unfortunately there was something wrong with both pizzas. I've included pictures, spotting the (vast) differences and what is wrong each might be a good starting point for employee training. If only there was a way to source a crop of employees from those who have an actual especial interest in pizza - like maybe ... Free pizza class events turned into pizza industry job fairs. Unfortunately it is often the case that even a venerated pizzeria will only have the ability to attract an employee who may or may not realize the difference between working here and at Subway, so I never let even the most negative experiences with service get in the way of my appreciation of an experience but it's clear here by looking at the pictures that the employees have not been orientated on the importance of delivering a consistent pizza (or any product) - and that is a managerial issue and likely extends all the way to lax franchise requirements
I included a photo of the undercarriage of the remade pizza ... It was literally doughy and you could peel and stretch pieces of the bottom, the finished pizza was like a dehydrated dough that still contained some hydration content. Obviously not consistent with the namesakes product, and if you can't maintain those standards (or treat customers with basic decency and respect when this is brought to your attention) then this franchise will quickly go the way of any mall food court pizza, which is a shame ... "Respect the craft" is right on the box
Needless to say I woke up in the middle of the night with projectile nausea, to say the least. Turns out underbaked pizza dough can do this. Nonetheless, incredibly disappointing after having this pizza which I traveled hours to get. In the future I will travel a little further to the...

A friend and I were heading to AMC Burbank for a movie, and I figured it was the perfect chance to finally check out Slice House. One of those pizza spots I’d bookmarked on Instagram ages ago. I usually hit places solo, so it was nice to tag-team this one. We ordered four slices total and split everything:
•The Wise Guy (NY-style with ricotta, sausage, mushrooms)
•Pepperoni (the sleeper hit)
•Little Italy (Detroit-style, deep dish-ish)
•Americana Combo (Chicago-style with meat + veggies)
Each of us got a drink too. He went for a tap beer, I had a tap ale and I initially thought it might not be enough food. But those deep dish slices are heavy hitters. We were both stuffed by the end. $50 total with drinks? Pretty fair. Now the standout: the pepperoni. Not even close. All the specialty slices were solid, but that classic pepperoni was next level. Crispy little cup-shaped pepperonis, great flavor, perfect texture, just hit every note. I’d go back and order two of those with a drink, skip the rest. The only hassle: parking. It’s free, but buried in the mall’s garage and kind of a mess if you’ve never been. Not ideal for a quick stop. But once you're in, service is fast, staff is great, and while the slices are reheated, they’re still flavorful. Not blazing hot, but hot enough. Bottom line: Slice House is a solid spot if you're already in Burbank. I wouldn’t drive across L.A. for it, but pre-movie? Perfect. That pepperoni slice alone is worth...
Read moreRecently drove past a new pizza place and thought it might be a sign when I received a mailing about it a week later. Curious about their offerings, my partner, who is always in the mood for a classic New York-style thin slice cheese pizza, and I decided to check it out. As a native Angeleno, I typically lean towards pepperoni or supreme pizzas, but I was intrigued by their potato pizza as well. We opted for the $10 combo, which includes a choice of cheese or pepperoni pizza, a Caesar or house salad, and a drink. While I appreciate the inclusion of a salad, I was disappointed by its size—it was smaller than my palm and I finished it in just a few bites. Additionally, I prefer iced tea over soda, but the drink selection felt limited without more variety. Another downside is that they only offer outdoor seating, which isn't fully covered, making it less inviting on cold or rainy days. As for the pizza, it was absolutely delicious! They kept the pizzas warm in the display causing condensation, which made it a bit difficult to see them clearly. Despite a couple of drawbacks, the pizza is definitely...
