Star Cup — Restaurant in Eau Claire

We went to this location through the drive thru and ordered two large strawberry banana smoothies with no boba. We received two large strawberry smoothies with boba but didn’t realize until we took a sip and were already pulled away. We went back through the drive thru to tell them their was a mistake and they proceeded to take the smoothies back that we had already drank from and put the smoothie and the boba back in the blender to blend the boba into the smoothie instead of remake with no boba. So when we got our new smoothies they had all the casings from the boba mixed in the smoothie it was disgusting to have little sacks in our smoothies. We were so frustrated we just left. I've been waiting for a bubble tea place to have a drive thru and I'm so glad it's Star Cup! This is the only place I get bubble tea in town. I love making my own bubble tea, but like to have a place I can grab some on the go. With that being said, this place offers great quality bubble tea drinks. Their drinks doesn't taste like powder mixes or have that artificial flavor taste. There's never been a problem with the consistency of bobas or jellies. Coming from the cities and having tried many bubble tea places, this one is on my top 5 list. I also want to mention the great customer service I get every time. Ordered in drive thru a large thai tea with boba. Got the tea and drove away. The straw that they gave was too small for the boba so I couldn't drink it. I had a long drive ahead so I tore the plastic off the top and took a few drinks. Obviously, I still couldn't get the boba and the tea didn't taste that great so I ended up throwing most of it away at the next stop. It was very disappointing to say the least.
