Taco Time NW — Restaurant in Edgewood

Taco Time is easily one of my cheat fast food restaurants I love to take the family to eat at. This location is one of the newer locations and it's always nice, clean and very fast if you use the drive-thru. Definitely 5/5 if it had not been for our lunch yesterday.

Yesterday I took my family there and as always the place is clean and they are always so quick at taking our order and food out to us. We were began eating and as my wife is finishing up her taco she kind of got the look of "omg, I just bit into gristle" only unfortunately for her it was plastic that she was chewing on. Everything had been great up until this point and has always been the handful of times we've been here in the past but I decided it would be best to say something to the Taco Time staff.

I went up and spoke with the same staff member who took our order with the half eaten food/ plastic square, about the size of the nickel. He seemed shocked at first and a little unsure on how to react and then he said "I'm sorry about that" and really just left it at that. He did look at one of the employees working on food in the back and so I took it as that was the end of the convo and I walked away.

I'll be completely honest when I say I wasn't looking for our entire order to be refunded, or even the taco but offering to remake the half eaten taco that had plastic in it would've gone a long way. We're local and have frequented this location several times since it opened and have never had any complaints. The whole experience and interaction has changed my opinion and we will no longer be customers of this location.

Taco Time NW in Edgewood is a must-visit if you're in the mood for delicious Mexican-inspired fast food. She checked in on me regularly, making sure everything was to my liking and even went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was memorable. She is an asset to the restaurant and deserves all the recognition she can get.

But it's not just Kylie that makes this restaurant so exceptional - the entire team is dedicated to providing an outstanding dining experience. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious, and the variety of options means there's something for everyone.

Placed a online order said it would be ready by the time I got to the restaurant. I waited 16 minutes in the lobby. Not one single employee acknowledged me. This has always been an issue here at Taco Time NW not the real Taco Times. Poor customer service = Poor review. And after talking with the owner about this a few other times. I take it they don't care about customer service. I am no longer going to call you to tell you that your employees can't give a simple smile or a nice greeting. And just ignore you. Like I have nothing better to do but come and sit in your lobby for the hell of it. Owners hire new management or get in your restaurant and run it like a real business.i ordered one item. You all should be embarrassed. I walkedout without my order again! And deleted your app. Them I called the guess service line to only be hung up on by your automated system. Again if you can't provide your online pick up customers with the same service as drive thru customers. You will loose other loyal...
