i don’t have time to leave reviews nor do i ever care about them but in this case i had to say something because it’s no longer a coincidence or mistake. this chipotle is the nastiest, dirtiest, laziest chipotle ever! in regards to the staff and food.. the rice was cold, the chicken was cold, the queso was like play-doh, the tomatoes are the worst it’s lost it’s square shape and it’s completely flat. the corn and cheese are probably the only good things here. the lime rice isn’t the perfect lime and salt combo, it’s just cold blocks of white rice. the chicken is shredded and burnt into smithereens and COLD. they don’t serve fajita bc they’re to lazy to cut vegetables (i asked and she said it’s a rush.. i was the only person in line. she said this with a straight face). the queso was so disgusting i cringe from the thought of it. the lettuce smells like dirty wet rags.. come to think of it the whole bowl smelt like dirty wet rags. i don’t think i’ve ever had a cold chipotle bowl at least the rice is hot i. some bowls bc i know they leave the warm food in hot baths under the serving plates and vise versa for cold food. the place is dirty, i swear i’ve been there like 3 times (this being my third and final) and it’s always disgusting. i regret it all the time. the staff are rude and barely let you ask for anything but that’s not something i worry to much about.. i’m paying so i’ll modify as much as i want. anyways i’m glad the other review also agree with this chipotle being the nastiest one in the whole of minnesota if not the whole country. there’s a 10/10 chipotle just a couple of miles away from it. it’s my usual spot even though i live closer to this one on YORK, id gladly travel to the one on LYNDALE RICHFIELD. literally best staff, foods warm and clean, the place is clean, there a lot of ppl eating inside (you know it’s good then). literally the best chipotle and get this THEY SERVE FAJITAS. i can’t wait for the day this chipotle closes or they rebrand and change the whole staff starting from...

However, this store was out of Bowls for the burrito bowls, in addition to various add-ons and menu items at the time, which makes sense, because it was late. That being said, neither the team members, nor managers made me aware that they were out of any items that I had had on my order. When I got home, these add-ons and menu items were simply not placed in my bag or included in my bowl. I only found out that they were out of chips after asking for them at the counter. None of the team members were at the front counter though, and took over a couple of minutes to come up to the front, so they were not being attentive to their customers. Instead, there were 4 or 5 team members grouped by the door to the kitchen and it still took them 2 minutes to come up despite there being no other guests ordering at the time. When a team member finally came up and I asked him about the chips, he frowned and sounded annoyed that I would even ask the question or bother him at all to begin with. His fellow team members and manager made no further attempts to help me either, not that that would be required though if better service had been provided. I do understand that sometimes stores are out of items, and I get that there is no way for them to provide me with items that they do not have. However, in addition to that: They did not inform me that there were not giving me everything that I ordered until they absolutely had to. No compensation of any kind was offered. No refund. No apology. Nothing. Lazy service. Poor employees who are not working for their paycheck and do not deserve to stay employed unless they wish to improve the way that they serve their customers. Read moreI've tried this location multiple times and every single time I order online, not only is the order not ready when the app tells me it should be available, it's 15-20 minutes extra wait time bare minimum. There are no associates that offer any help or explanations. The associates don't even read the name of the order or try to find the customer that's waiting on the items - making every customer have to come up to the counter to read the name on the bag every time a new order pops up - Multiple times I have seen customers yelling out the names that are on the orders rather than associates doing anything to offer assistance and basically ignoring what's happening in front of them.
As I'm typing this review there are no less than 10 people waiting in the Online Pickup area. No one has offered an apology and every customer looks disgruntled by the lack of service. Multiple associates have walked by the line of people to grab a drink from the soda fountain and joking with each other. There was even an associate behind the counter complaining loudly about the "service industry" as there were 10+ people waiting in line. I'm currently 17 minutes behind my 720pm Pickup time and haven't even been looked at by an associate once. Not expecting 5 star service from Chipotle but this is inexcusable. It's clear there is a management issue at the Edina location, especially during the 6-10pm hours.
