Flashback to 5 months ago when my family and I came here for an after birthday dinner dessert for my daughters 13th birthday. Her elementary school aged brother thought it would be funny (unbeknownst to me) to put our order name as, well, not a real name. When I realized what he put, I waited for them to start packing our order and approached the counter so none of the staff would have to say our order name out loud. The manager that night, Sarah, then decided to cuss at said daughter because of it. She and I exchanged words and that was that⦠I didnāt write a review after nor did I call to complain, I let it go and just said we will never go back.
Now, last night.. I get a phone call at 10 pm literally from the same manager as that night saying they have my sons phone? The same son who put in the fake name.. his phone has been missing for months. (We thought he lost it outside in our neighborhood a few days later- heās 8 so donāt come for me asking why I didnāt know he left it there and why I didnāt call) ANYWAYS. I went to pick it up today & it doesnāt have his case on it?? Whatever, I can get over a stolen case. My frustration is why are you NOW calling me- 5 months later- saying you have his phone? Why didnāt you call that night when you found it? Heck why didnāt you call a couple days after?? Just for context her birthday dinner was in July, itās now November. You're telling me you just randomly decided to plug in the phone and call me now? Why? Something just seems off with the whole situation. Oh and I know your staff consists of mainly high schoolers but teach them some customer service and to at least pretend that the person entering the store isnāt a total inconvenience to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered online. Have done before w no issue. Think absurd you default to a $2 tip when they don't take order or talk to you half the time other than the name (and price of cookies, Crumbl pay to bakers should be high). This time order switched from pickup to carry out (which wasn't an option to pick). Then arrived and guy is alone working. Finishes cookies and preps two out three cookies. Bring them over, no hi just pick something else no blueberry ones. I say it wasn't when I ordered, any way I can to get one wait? He said about 10 minutes and I say no problem as I don't want another flavor (got the other 2 I wanted already). I said oh will it need more time to cool - he says no 5 m to cook, 5 m to cool. So I wait - did the questionnaire on app and was on my phone. He helped another customer. Got my cookie and e didn't show me. So blueberry glaze ran and no butter cream dollop I got home. So disappointed in this being incomplete after waiting. He didn't seem pleased I didn't take another one instead so not sure if it was intentional for waiting / getting what I ordered or just rushing and forgot. Probably will not go back to the location or at very least check them all before going. (Wanted to try that cookie most of all as mom got it earlier in the week and said how good it was w the glaze and buttercream.)
Counter was dirty. To be fair, guy was alone there. Store should have a 2nd person versus one handling all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot as good as the Apple valley location when I went yesterday at 3 I got a 6 pack and the cookies were cold also a side note most of the ācookiesā werenāt cookies at all this is the second time Iāve been to crumbl and Iām not impressed as a cookie lover. The chocolate chip one are my favorite and they were the best warm from Apple valley and the sugar one isnāt that bad but how do you mess up two staple cookies. At the Edina location I got two chocolate 1 Otto chocolate cookie 1 banana cream1 moo pie 1 iced sugar.
For starters the chocolate cookies were cold as soon as I bit into it in the car. The brownie cookie was really like a brownie the texture was completely off for a cookie that is . The banana cream one was terrible to me it didnāt resemble a cookie once eating it it was more like a pie you couldnāt even pick it up without it falling apart . The moon pie was decent but essentially itās just a cookie filled with vanilla icing. The sugar cookie is regular to me . On the bright side I ate the brownie cookie no complaints overall my girlfriend ate the banana cream pie cookie so no money wasted here but I wonāt be back to this location . If this is youāre first time I would say go safe donāt try a new cookie if youāre not getting a multipack . Ps if they have an everything bagel cookie stay far away it was not good. I like sweets but that cookie wasnāt it. It was the only cookie to survive my first visit and it ended...
