Ordered 4 very nice solid-wood stone-top items from the Amherst collection (two dressers, night stand, chest of drawers) for the master bedroom. Ordered in January from their website. Quite expensive, almost $10K, but was willing to pay that much for good quality. Needed to wait for production and eventually they were delivered in early April. Delivery team was amazing, they even helped put on floor protectors. Upon delivery, we notice that two of the items had some defects or damage (see photos) -- mostly superficial scratches/gouges on the wood, but some drawers that we're just not installed precisely. One instance of a drawer mounted such that it was not quite parallel to the drawer above it (functions fine, but noticeably asymmetric, see photo). Another instance is the chest of drawers where the gaps between drawers are different sizes (again, functions fine, but noticeable, see photo). Also, one of the drawers (this one happened to be mounted perfectly) has water damage on the bottom wood surface. Not sure how that could have passed quality control. So, we took photos and contacted them immediately. Initially, they responded quickly, indicating they would fix the problems. They provided contact information for a contractor (Gino) who supposedly would work with us to replace the damaged parts/items. We initially contacted Gino in late April, who told us he would be calling the following week, but he did not. We've tried calling and leaving messages, but he's been unresponsive. So now we are emailing the company again to figure this out.

Read moreI stopped by for the first time today. I was looking for a few pieces of furniture. This was the 4th furniture store I stopped at today.
The furniture is well made, you can feel the quality and difference compared to the other stores. The style of it is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The furniture was mostly really comfortable. The knowledge of the staff is unmatched, they’ll go out of their way to help you.
My only complaint is the price for the furniture. But I don’t think it’s overpriced, all their stuff seems to be made really well. You get what you pay for and this is definitely not cheap pressed wood like many other...
Read moreRoom and Board used to be THE place to go in Minneapolis for fine furniture. Fortunately they still have some really cool lighting. Unfortunately since they ended their partnership with Herman Miller and drastically reduced their stock of Knoll furniture it's gone down hill. They filled their showroom with knockoffs and fakes. No new, innovative design, no timeless classics, nothing custom. Just like HOM furniture except you can effortlessly choose one of six fabric samples they've cleverly left out so you can still feel like you're customizing your new designer...
