I ordered 2 sandwiches, 1 BLTA, 1 wreck. I'm a regular here. The sandwiches felt very light. After eating half of it, I realized it had 2 small rings of tomato & was missing avocado & pickle,. I called the store, no apology & was told that I could go back. I opened up the 2nd sandwich, it was very thin layer in the middle and no pickle. I called again, no apologies again. I was gonna let it go, but all I heard is "come back 'we can make another 1' ". Shouldn't they apologize first? I drove back to the store. This time the sandwich maker is a ~45 yr old guy. He apologized first and made me 2 sandwiches. He handled it politely. I'd give him 5 stars. The shop get 3 stars b/c of him, otherwise I'd give it no star. It's not just about the sandwiches, it's about making your customer losing time. I've been to this shop many times. Never had any problem before. I'm not against young teenage workers, but I think they don't know what they're doing or...
Read moreThe Edina store is so dirty!! On 6/23/24 at 2:15 pm, order number 27710854286344196. Crumbs on every single chair, table top & floor. Table top was sticky The fountain is filthy. The four workers were just standing behind the counter looking out to the store. They didn’t bother looking to view new orders coming in online until I told them I ordered online. I told the workers about the disgusting dirty store. They got really defensive. Yet they didn’t rectify the issues I pointed out. They just stood there with their hands in the counters. No courtesy or smiles. Once I stepped anway from the counter, they started laughing! It’s almost understandable to have dirty tables during lunchtime but only 2 other people were in the store. And they want a $ tip $ ??’! HERE’S A TIP: CLEAN THE STORE, BE COURTEOUS & STOP ASKING FOR TIP MONEY WHEN THEY CANT COMPLETE THEIR BASIC JOB...
Read moreThe staff here are all cool and hardworking sandwich makers except except....for the one dude at the register who has his phone under the register looking down the whole time watching Snapchat videos.
Pretty clever actually, keeps people guessing, maybe he’s fixing the register, or maybe he can’t login, or maybe he’s just had a bad day?
The barely hidden phone serves the dual purpose of keeping him entertained through what must be a mind-numbing day job while giving a subtle passive aggressive message to the customers that they don’t matter at all to him, and that ultimately we are at his mercy, will he maybe ring us up for the wrong thing? Will he simply ignore us until we ask for help? Both things happened while I was there.
Now I’m starting to get why he likes this job, actually. He wields quite a bit of power over us, the...
