Five Guys — Restaurant in Edina

Ordered thru DoorDash which is usually where I go wrong but today that wasn’t the case. Ordered food was here quick and hot. I ordered 3 sandwiches and 1 of the 3 was not correct. Had jalapeños on it, which is not something I can remove and still enjoy my food. So I can just to see if I can get a credit or replace tomorrow when I’m not trying to feed children/settle down for the evening. And I speak to the manager, I explained and she puts me on hold for awhile thinking I’d hang up n then comes back and says that is what it says on my receipt so that’s what they put and there’s nothing she can do. I told her this is not what I wanted and she told me it was my fault that I put jalapeños and there’s nothing she can do. I got the general managers name and will speak to her but geez in the restaurant industry customer service should be the #1 focus right? Definitely lacking with the woman I spoke with. Bummer. Really good hamburgers and a lot of choices for the toppings you want on them. The burgers lived up to expectations. They also hype the fries, but to be honest, they were just so-so - they're OK, but nothing to brag about. The prices aren't outrageous, but are a bit high. We had two burgers and split a large order of fries and a fountain drink, and the total was over $25. (Wish we had ordered a small order of fries.) Everything is prepared fresh and hot. They have free salted peanuts in the shell to snack on while you wait. Decor is clean-industrial with 'wood-look' metal cafeteria chairs at the tables, some with uneven legs. The music was a bit too loud. Again the burger was worth bragging about, but for the meal and experience, you can probably do better for the money. Getting just the burgers for carry-out might be a better option if you can keep them hot until you get to your...

Delicious burgers. Hand cut fries! Great ice cream shakes and a touch screen pop machine with lots of options combinations to choose from! Order at the register and you will get a number that they will literally yell out loud and then you just go to the back area and pick it up. You’re order is always in a bag aside from the ice cream shakes and always extra amount of fries in your bag as well. Plenty of fries when a large order of fries is ordered! Burgers are customizable as well as the hand spun ice cream shakes. Also if you want one burger pattie make sure to say little cheeseburger. 2 patties is just cheeseburger. This place has won awards for their burgers and fries. Experience it for yourself I would recommend trying it if you enjoy cheeseburgers and hand cut fries and hand spun shakes!
