Decent Place, Ok food, very poor service. Five of us went here for dinner on a Sunday. They were quite busy but we were seated promptly. We ordered 3 appetizers - tandoori chicken, spiced jackfruit in tandoor and gobi manchurian (I may not be using the exact name on the menu). We also ordered 4 dishes at the same time we had ordered the appetizers. Tandoori chicken came first and a few minutes later came jack fruit. Chicken was somewhat, cold, dry and chewy and did not taste good. Spiced jackfruit was ok. For some reason the gobi manchurian appetizer did not come for several minutes after we had finished the first two appetizers. Gobi manchurian was crispy and tasted good. After finishing appetizers, we waited and waited and waited for almost 45-60 minutes to get our main dishes. I asked the waiter and the manager couple times about what happened to our food and they would say “it’s coming soon”. Not sure what they meant by coming soon. Meanwhile, one of the waiters came by and left some condiments to go with our dinner. A few minutes later he came back to take it back saying “sorry, wrong table”. Then he came back to take away our small plates we had used for appetizers. My silverware had some food stuck from appetizer so I requested new silverware. His response was “it may take some time”. We were all confused and asked “what may take some time, the silverware.” And he said “yes, because they were running out of silverware”. We all looked at each other in disbelief to learn for the first time ever that a restaurant was running out of silverware! We travel and eat out a lot and this was the first time we ever heard such a response.
Another strange thing we observed was they were leaving water containers at each table - some tables (including ours) had water in stainless steel pitcher whereas others had water in glass pitchers with mint in them! Not sure why they would not give glass pitchers with mint for every table - were they expecting us to ask for it? All the waiters and other staff seemed very busy and never made an eye contact or came to ask how we were doing or did not even notice us waving our hand to get their attention.
The four pan Asian main dishes we ordered were ok, nothing to ‘wow’.
Whether you liked the service or not, the bill came with tips being included. I understand why - because they probably would get very poor tips if they did not include it!
All in all it was a very poor experience and a total...
Read moreHey there! So, if you're into pan Asian cuisine and you're craving flavors from different Asian countries, boy, do I have a recommendation for you! There's this amazing place you absolutely have to try. They've got a wide variety of dishes that will totally rock your taste buds. I mean, seriously, their pav bhaji fondue and chili garlic noodles are to die for! The food is absolutely delicious and totally worth the wait, although I should mention that the service can be a bit slow at times.
Now, let me tell you about the star of the show - their pav bhaji fondue. You know pav bhaji, right? It's this super popular street food from India, a spicy veggie curry served with soft bread rolls. Well, this restaurant takes it up a notch by serving it as a fondue. Can you imagine that? The rich and flavorful curry is served in a fondue pot, and you get to dip those soft bread rolls and experience an explosion of flavors. It's a whole new level of yumminess!
And wait till you hear about their chili garlic noodles. These noodles are stir-fried to perfection and coated in this spicy garlic sauce that's just so bold and addictive. The combo of the chili heat and the pungent garlic creates this perfect balance that will have you coming back for more, trust me.
Now, I have to be honest with you, the service here can be very damn slow. The staff may take a lot longer than expected to bring out your food and they charge gratuity for delay services.
So, to sum it all up, if you're on the hunt for some amazing pan Asian cuisine, you gotta check out this restaurant. The pav bhaji fondue and chili garlic noodles are just a taste of what they have to offer. Yeah, the service is slow everytime i been there, but the incredible flavors and aromas of the food totally make up for it. Just be prepared to be patient and get ready for a culinary adventure that'll have your taste buds dancing...
Read moreReading the amazing reviews brought me to this place with high expectations. However, it wasn't up to the hype. The food range doesn't have too many options for an "Indian & Pan Asian cuisine."
When I heard the weekday buffet price went up from 9.99 to 11.99, I thought maybe they would've added some more options but I was wrong. They just want to follow the standard price around and keep it as high as possible. Not that I have a problem with that, but keep in mind unlike most lunch buffets around here, this restaurant doesn't include Garlic Naan, masala chash or mango lassi as part of the buffet. They charge extra for everything!!
Also, hear me out: when we ordered naan, we ordered 2 Naans and 1 roti and as normally I'd expect, they would've brought the basket and put it on our table. We ordered this before we went to get our food and we waited the entire first round hoping it would come. They got to our table when we finished all our curries without rotis lol and when a waiter came to our table, he served 1 or 2 pieces per person and walked away WITH the basket. He didn't come back to offer more and we didn't want to ask individually when we needed more bread. How's this fair??? I get it that you want to serve everyone while its hot but you should also consider visiting every table frequently to ask if they want more. 1 bread piece is all i got and it was super late :(
My coworker said the chili chicken had too much soy sauce and was salty. We also got garlic naan that was charged extra but it was good. The mailbox with the bill is kinda cute and innovative. Overall, the food was average on a Tuesday menu and I would've given it 2 stars for the food but the 3rd star goes for the nice decor and ambiance they have here. Idk if I should consider other days for a better menu options but the taste might just be...
