Desi Tadka Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Edison

They made us wait almost an hour for our food. I ordered chicken Tikka 4 pieces and, I know that it does not take almost an hour to make that dish. There was only one other couple in the place who came in after us and they were served before us. We had to pay an extra $7.99 for veg biriyani rice since the chicken did not come with rice. My son ordered a spinach paratha with goat meat, no rice came with that dish either. The Indian couple sitting near us called us monkeys when we passed their table to use the restroom. The Mango lassi was not very good and we had to buy bottled water. Apparently they must not have water or ice? Our bill was $60 insane! Do not go to this place and spend your money with in this restaurant which clearly does not like...

Food was good. We had butter cheese vadapav which tastes good. The green chutney was delicious and added more punch to the taste. It could be on spicier side for some but I enjoyed it the way it came. We also tried Paneer sizzlers which was average and quantity was too little for the price. Not recommended. We also had Kaju curry with garlic naan and I loved it. The quality of naam was awesome with just the right amount of crispiness and the Kaju curry tasted amazing. I would recommend...

I recently visited Desk Tadka, and it was a terrible experience. The food was absolutely awful and inedible. The flavors were off, and everything tasted stale and poorly prepared. I couldn't even finish my meal, fearing it might cause food poisoning. The quality was so bad that I left the restaurant feeling nauseous. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid it at all costs!
