I wish I could rate lower. I've had so many bad experiences with wrong or incomplete orders that I refuse to go here ever again. There's other Dunkins up the road.
Once I ordered a Shamrock Macchiato, as it was on their menu at the time in the drive thru. I get a caramel macchiato instead. When I told them it wasn't what I ordered, the woman told me "You said Caramel macchiato. We don't have the shamrock macchiato anymore." When I told herI DID say Shamrock AND it's still on their menu without so much as a "sold out" sticker on it, she offered to make me something else. I gave up and just took it.
Most recently, I ordered 1 sausage egg and cheese croissant sandwich with extra cheese, an order of biscuit bites that they were promoting, 2 donuts, and a large iced coffee, extra cream, no sugar, in that order.
The guy asked me to repeat myself. I told him my order at least 3 times before being told to pull up. There was no one behind me.
I make it to the window and he hands me a large hot coffee. I tell him that's not what I ordered. I said I had an iced coffee. He mumbles, talks to his coworker, and comes back with a large iced coffee, black, no sugar. I told him I asked for extra cream.
He goes back and mumbles to his coworker again and they dumped some half and half in it and handed it back to me. It tastes horrible and extremely bitter. Precisely what I was trying to avoid.
He tells me to wait while the sandwich gets made. He comes out again with my sandwich. No extra cheese. Whatever. I'm sitting there waiting. They aren't coming back with my biscuit bites. I had to knock on the window and ask for it.
"You only ordered 2 things" he says as he confusingly looks at the receipt he had, which they never gave to me.
I had had it at that point and just drove off. They already held me up before a long road trip for long enough, and there was barely enough brain power in their collective heads to re-ring me up for the missing items so I just cut my losses and left.
This is not even counting all the other times they've forgotten items and charged me or just outright didn't add them to my order.
This entire Dunkin needs to either be re-trained or they need to hire people who are actually awake in the morning. I'm know not everyone at this location is bad, but I've been burned and wasted so much time on their incompetence that I'd rather simply avoid them entirely. They cannot be trusted to get it right consistently and it'll cost you 30 minutes or more...
Read moreLet's go down the list... Right off the bat they had a very hard time understanding my order. Took the whole order and then they seemed to delete it and made me give it again. Then when we got our drinks, two out of three of them were so bad that we had to spit them out. Yes, they were THAT BAD. My latté tasted like luke warm brown tap water. We aren't from around here so we usually go to other Dunkin Donuts. We order the same DD drinks every day, (one hot coffee, one hot latté, one iced latté), and these were nothing like what we're used to. They were HORRIBLE. All three drinks were made incorrectly - and we were the only customers they had at the time! This was our first time coming to this particular DD's, and it was definitely our last. We also ordered wake up wraps, which were luke warm and awful. Couldn't even eat them! I don't know what's wrong with this place. When I drove back to correct my order, she requested the receipt - only problem was that she never gave me a receipt!!! I remember getting just my change back, and at the time I figured the receipt must have been taped to one of the drinks or something, but it was not. I didn't worry about it too much at that moment because I usually never have a problem at any DD's I ever go to. But, she told me that the latté machine had been shut down for the night, and she couldn't make a new one, and wouldn't refund the one that sucked without a receipt! All in all, a less-than-mediocre experience. The franchise should remove their name from this one for sure; they're making them look really bad. One thing I'm certain of is that we will be avoiding this DD's forever.
The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is because she gave us another cup of coffee in an attempt to fix...
Read moreI ordered a medium hazelnut coffee, light and sweet using only hazelnut swirl no sugar because hazelnut swirl is already sweet, a croissant toasted with cream cheese and grape jelly and an order of hash browns. There were no other customers when I arrived at the counter, and I ended up having to repeat my order 4 times for the cashier. There were a few employees in behind the cashier who were very loud. Anther customer arrived who felt it was ok to stand on the side of me leaning over as if to push me out of the way to have the cashier, whom at this point made it clear that they know each other, take his order before mine. I received my order quickly and I had to immediately check it because I asked to have the croissant toasted and it should have taken a few moments to do so. Needless to say it was not toasted and the food preparer just dropped a bit of cream cheese and opened a jelly pack and dropped it on and then smushed the sandwich together. He did not spread anything. My coffee wasn't what I asked for at all. The staff were not concerned at all to deliver customer service and address my dissatisfaction, instead they made me feel uncomfortable with the unprofessinalism that was taking place and disappointment with the service that doesn't do the brand justice.
