If you're in the mood for an authentic Italian experience, Ferraro's Pizzeria in Edison, New Jersey, is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by an old-school Italian atmosphere that immediately makes you feel like you're in a cozy corner of Jersey. The décor and the ambiance transport you back to a time when things were simple, and every meal was made with love.
When it comes to the pizza, Ferraro’s is hands down the best you can find in Central Jersey. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, offering just the right amount of crunch. The sauce is a beautiful balance of sweet and tangy marinara that complements the pizza without overwhelming it. The mozzarella cheese is top-notch, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality that speaks to the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. Every bite is a reminder of why Ferraro's stands out as a local gem.
What truly elevates the experience, though, is the owner and staff. The owner is an absolute lovely human, always making sure that every guest feels welcomed and appreciated. The employees are equally wonderful—kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there, which adds to the overall warmth of the place. It's clear that Ferraro's isn't just a restaurant, but a beloved community spot where everyone is treated like family.
Whether you're a pizza aficionado or just looking for a place to enjoy a great meal with friendly faces, Ferraro's Pizzeria in Edison should be at the top...
Read moreI ordered take out for delivery. I ordered garlic knots, a penne vodka with chicken, cheese ravioli with red sauce, a large green salad and cannoli dessert. This was dinner for my daughter and myself. It came out to approximately $67. and change. We preferred on a Monday night at about 7:00pm. The girl on the phone said about an hour but it took an hour and a half. Dinner came around 8:30pm. The delivery guy said it was extra busy. That happens sometimes! The entrees came with a small salad each. The large green salad came with greens, olives, thinly sliced onions, cucumber pieces and some tomatoes. Salad okay. Too many black olives ratio to salad. The ravioli dish had mozzarella cheese baked on top of the ravioli and red sauce. Each entree came with one bread roll. The penne vodka was okay but not what we’re use to! It was very creamy and had a very light pink sauce. My daughter said it had like an Alfredo cream sauce. It was not the classic penne vodka sauce we’re used to. It had small pieces of chicken. We like the taste of their red sauce, but the penne vodka was not the classic penne vodka. They do ask if you’d like to put the tip on your credit card when you charge over the phone. I told the girl I was going to give the driver a cash tip. I gave him $13.00. He was nice and polite and apologized for being so...
Read moreFerraro’s undoubtedly served me one of the best authentic, home-style Italian meals I’ve ever had when eating out! The staff is overwhelmingly kind, and the owner Donna even came out to ask how the food is doing and is extremely welcoming. We were blessed to have one of their nicest and professional servers Gina, who was always promptly bringing food, refilling drinks, etc. This was a beyond special experience.
I went for a date night with my fiancé, and this whole experience was truly nothing short of extraordinary! For such great food and atmosphere, you’d think they would charge you an arm and a leg. WRONG!! They offer SO MANY meal specials, that it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to not want to go! My fiancé had the pasta special and I had the chicken vodka parm (it’s been 2 days and I’m still thinking about it and already planning my next trip back). Finding affordable but good quality places for date nights are extremely hard to come by, but look no further because Ferraro’s is the place to be!!
Make sure to stop in to Ferraro’s for a wonderful bite to eat, AND DON’T FORGET to also look at their takeout specials!! Unbelievable food for such affordable prices, you seriously can’t miss out on this wonderful Italian...
