I recently ordered from this Indian restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the quality of food and service. The food was drenched in oil, to the point where it was more oil than actual food. When I tried to bring this up with the chef, they had a terrible attitude and refused to acknowledge any mistake on their part. Instead, they argued that this was simply how restaurant food is, and that I should have specifically requested less oil if I wanted a healthier meal.
This left me feeling extremely dissatisfied with the service and overall experience. The chef's attitude and lack of concern for their customers' health is alarming, and their refusal to provide a refund for the unsatisfactory food only added to my frustration. I would strongly advise anyone looking for quality Indian cuisine to avoid this restaurant at all costs.

While it is true that I did not specifically request the "Less Oil" option, I did not expect the food to be excessively oily to the point of feeling unwell after eating it. I brought this to the attention of the chef, but I was met with a dismissive attitude and no apology or acknowledgment of the issue. When I asked for a replacement dish, I was given one with less oil, but was not offered a refund for the original dish that made me feel unwell.
I understand that service may not include pandering to my bad mood, but as a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and understanding. I did not feel that this was the case during my visit to your restaurant. I believe that honest feedback, whether positive or negative, is important for improving the overall experience for customers.
I hope that in the future, you will take customer feedback seriously and work to address any issues that may arise. Thank you for your...
Read moreSo everyone has a different perspectives and opinions on everything and here is mine.
To me the ambience of the place was simple yet beautiful . The interiors have such a calming feel like as if you are in a beautiful mud hut village which is so well kept. Vintage ,traditional , creative and simple decor .
The songs and the atmosphere was calming . No chaos and no loud music. The temperature was comfortable inside and the calmness was so comforting .
Food : The menu clearly mentions the preparation time for the items. The food is freshly cooked - from stove to the table - so hard to find this these days . Only my mother cooks and serves me fresh roti and food at home . This is a rare thing to do and difficult esp nowadays when everyone wants everything so quick and don't care about quality .
The aloo wadi was sooooo good . Aam pana is freshly made from mangoes and fresh mint. - a must try ! The Dabha dal was very good too.
No Bloating and heaviness after eating food and it is not out of refrigerator .
Cutlery : traditional stainless steel heavy duty . Very clean plates and utensils .
Serving size : huge ! We packed a lot to use it the next day .
Price : the portion size , the quality and freshness of the food is worth the price . I would rather eat less items than order a lot of items somewhere cheap. Freshly made food is a rare things to serve and compete in a capitalistic environment.
The owner has such beautiful intentions and is doing social services by donating a meditation center and teaching mediation . The vibes and the intention with which the food is prepared is a good too. And she also takes cooking classes .
The concept of this business is different than we are used to so we have to be patient and open to new ideas.
Overall I Enjoyed...
