If you’re looking for the absolute best Mexican dining experience in Edmond, look no further than Alfredo’s. This place has been my go-to for quite some time now, and I can honestly say it’s one of those rare gems where everything is consistently fantastic—every single time I visit.
The food? Absolutely incredible. Every dish I’ve ever tried, from the fajitas to the enchiladas to their queso and specialty salsas, is full of flavor and clearly made with care. The portions are generous, the ingredients are always fresh, and the quality is something you can rely on visit after visit. And let’s talk about their margaritas—especially their Thursday evening special. Who can beat a $3 margarita? You simply can’t. It’s the best deal in town, and it tastes every bit as good as margaritas three times the price elsewhere.
But what really sets Alfredo’s apart is the people. The servers are hands-down some of the best I’ve ever encountered anywhere. I’ve come to know many of them by name because they go out of their way to make every dining experience special. Jose, Gustavo, Lilly, Maggi, Eder and David are amazing—friendly, attentive, and always ready with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. Whether I’m dining solo for a quick meal or coming in with a large group, they consistently make me feel welcome and taken care of.
The management team is just as impressive. Flor, Felipe, and Sylvia regularly make the rounds, checking in with guests to ensure everything is perfect. Their presence and dedication create an atmosphere where you truly feel like your experience matters. You don’t see that level of hands-on care very often, and it’s one of the reasons I keep coming back.
From top to bottom, Alfredo’s delivers—delicious food, unbeatable drink specials, exceptional service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. They’ve built a culture where everyone, from the servers to the managers, takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every meal and every interaction.
If you haven’t been yet, go. And if you’ve already been, you probably don’t need me to tell you to go back—you’re already hooked. Alfredo’s isn’t just a restaurant; it’s the place in Edmond for Mexican food...
Read moreI typically prefer this restaurant if i have a hankering for good Mexican food . TODAY changed my opinion of this restaurant. i only ever get the chicken quesadilla but decided to try the guiso Verde with pork because that is what the waitress suggested. Our food came out abnormally fast ?????????? so my guess is it wasn't made fresh. my pork was room temperature at best . I told her food was cold she acted confused on how to resolve issue. The manager was confused as well but said he would remake it .. when the food came back i could tell it was microwaved and served on same plate along with the fact that there was less meat served in a bunch of green sauce ,beans , chino beans which are usually crisp were soggy and super hot as if left in microwave to long or had been spit on . prior to him bringing out the below satisfactory dish askED the waiter to just go ahead and bring me chicken quesadilla . he said "she told me you wanted a chicken quesadilla but i already made this" * microwave d * it was still disgusting asked to go ahead and have chicken quesadilla i received a shrimp instead. so my friend had eaten all her food i still hadn't received anything worth eating except for chips and dips AND THEY CHARGED US FOR 3 MEALS ----- ALTHOUGH WE FREQUENT AND THEY MESSED UP NOT ONCE BUT SEVERAL TIMES WOULDN'T DO THE COURTESY OF COMPING MEAL SMH i SADLY WONT BE GOING THERE AGAIN HONESTLY LOVED ALFREDO'S BEFORE TODAY AND...
Read moreWent to Alfredos in Edmond with my mother. Starting with the best thing about our visit was the service. The waiter was attentive and responsive. The Latin music is entirely too loud.
Now about the food, I had the Nachos with fajita beef and an ice tea, the regular nachos is 11.99 add 5.00 for fajita beef. The "nachos" is a single layer of chips with lots of cheese and small cubes of steak the chips are swimming in the grease and soggy. A huge pile of shredded lettuce with a few chunks of tomato adorn the center of the plate, a small scoop of guacamole and a small scoop of sour cream finish out the plate. If I had seen a photo of the plate BEFORE I ordered it I would not have gotten it. The best thing on the plate was the guacamole, it was freshly made with chunks of avocado.
Iced tea, now how do you screw up iced tea? Make it with instant ice tea mix and use about half of the recommended amount. The result is nasty tasting water.
I HIGHLY recommend you stay away from this establishment, the value for your money is not there and the food is the most lacking I have ever experienced. Food is tasteless, even the tea is tasteless.
Taco Bell does a better job for a...
