Came into the restaurant yesterday (Easter Sunday). The lines are separated- catering/ take out, and also dine-in to help ease the wait and offer urgency for those who don't wish to eat on location. The restaurant was hoppin', as usual. I wanted to take my order to-go, so I headed for the appropriate line. Waited a few minutes for those ahead to order. It was my turn.
Then they got a phone order, and someone took over the register to ring it up. I wished they had a register separated for phone orders, but really did not mind waiting. When the phone call was finished, a friendly gentleman took my order, and when I asked to get the chips from my nachos separate (since I did not want them soggy when I got home) he offered to have them put each topping into separate containers!
Order taking went smoothly. Each staff on the 3 registers seemed to know what they were doing, as each line moved quickly. Paid. No issues.
Had to wait several minutes, but not excessively due to the amount of people in the restaurant. Noticed they have table runners who deliver your food, and everyone seemed to be smiling and had a sense of urgency as food was brought to the diners. Mine was ready to go soon.
The carry-out bag was large but not overstuffed. My order was correct. They included utensils for eating. I ordered brisket nachos, and my own opinion was that the brisket tasted slightly bland, even though my husband and dad thought it was delicious and wouldn't stop raving how great the nachos were. I personally loved all the nacho toppings! The queso was creamy and one of the best I've had! The Fire-Roasted salsa was spicy and delicious!
Overall a great experience. Fuzzy's was quick, easy, and had delicious food. I will definitely be coming back for more nachos, but I'll probably try beef next time...
Read moreIt's literally the best grilled veggie taco in the world... I wish more places offered the vegetarian choices that Fuzzy's does, but since variety is definitely lacking in this area, it's been my go to for fast-ish food that seriously doesn't taste anything like typical fast food, isn't made with weird processed chemicals, and is super affordable. Also, I highly recommend their app for the rewards program, I'm always getting something for free, so sign up, it's worth it fr. Try the refried beans and grilled veggie quesadilla....even the ppl I know who eat meat love that so much they don't even miss the meat being on there. I try to spread my no meat message as much as possible, and some ppl aren't receptive, so whatever, but I just want to add that animals are friends, not food. Let's respect our fellow soul travelers in whatever form they take, and if you feel the same way, please help me with spreading the message on behalf of those who are unable to speak for themselves. I don't know if this is going to be well received in this part of the country (I'm for sure not from here, from FL, and it's like way better than the media make it seem), but since I am here, I just thought I'd share some love for our animal friends and hope that there are some kindred souls out here that understand that I am coming from a place of love and compassion and only want to spread more kindness to the...
Read moreNice reply from Fuzzy's rep encouraged me to try again. Needed lunch and was nearby. Decided to try again. Armed with info and an idea: order simple tacos, chicken my preferred. Lively fella, Robby, waited on me with great attention to my needs. I ordered one soft and one crispy taco. Shredded chicken, hold the sauce. I was able to get guacamole on side as substitute for the sauce. Yum. Wish I had some right now.
Original review: Noisy, sports type bar with too many TV screens and uncomfortable seating. Seemed like most people came for fancy frozen drinks and cheesey type foods. Not a place I would have picked, but I went for being with the family. My meal choice wasn't good, mostly because of the hot sauce smothering my shredded brisket. I couldn't get enough of the sauce off to make it palatable.
The guacamole was the saving grace. My daughter brought clean Fuzzy's cups for $1 drinks. I picked Sprite and added cut limes they had for a quick limeade. Those two things got them two stars instead of one. Chips and salsa might have been good if there had been more unbroken ones and the salsa wasn't the right taste for me. Queso was watery so it seemed like cheese gravy.
Changed my mind from..."Can't recommend." to recommend if you know what you want when you go. Order the...
