Mt Everest Cuisine 😋 Can't believe I stumbled upon Mt Everest and had the most delicious food! 🤤 Friendly staff, huge menu, and the chicken tiki masala and garlic naan were out of this world! Already planning my next visit! 😍 #chickentikka #butterchicken #garlicnaan #okcfood #edmondfood #samos #405

We visited Mt Everest today in order to try their food as we love Indian style food. We were warmly greeted and seated. We tried a number of dishes because there was so much available that you may not always find elsewhere. Trying to narrow down the selection was difficult as there were so many options that sounded delicious! We tried the Mixed Grill as my husband loves chicken tandoori and kebabs. I had to have the lamb biryani and the lamb korma - so wonderful and spicy as I like it! Too, we tried the Paneer Naan and the Aloo Naan. My husband loved the Paneer Naan as it as loaded with cheese, and the Aloo Naan was loaded with the potato masala... inside pillowy soft bread! Simply delightful! Of course, we had dessert... the gulab jamun and the kheer - Wow! Simply said, this is the best food that we have encountered thus far! It was definitely worth the drive up to Edmond for such excellent food! The food is indeed very flavorful, and the portions are very generous! We were surprised to see the food coming! I think we needed a bigger table for our feast!!! (When it's this good, leftovers are definitely a PLUS!) I would also say for the food quality and quantity, the prices are very reasonable. You are also allowed to state your spiciness preference, and they do a great job getting it to suit your tastes! This is an excellent restaurant serving THE BEST Indian cuisine! The atmosphere for dining in is very comfortable and cheery. Each and every staff member we had encountered were very friendly and polite! Service was EXCELLENT! Food is EXCELLENT! We love it! Looking at the menu, we will definitely try some Nepali dishes next week! Though, what we had we would definitely want again! We went again today (10/02/20), and we once again had a nice feast! I tried the Nepali Lamb Thali and Lamb Roganjosh while my husband is hooked on the Paneer Naan and the Mixed Grill! This time I remembered to take pictures of the desserts... the kheer (rice pudding), gulab jamun, and the pistachio ice cream... Also, we bought some items for take away as well! :) Can't live without this! Will we go again? YES, OF COURSE we will! Excellent food! Excellent service! Great prices! HUGE servings! Great atmosphere as well! Today (10/08/20), we tried the appetizer basket and chicken fried rice and even more dishes! Again, EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT! Excellent food! Excellent service! Great prices! Excellent portions to have the enjoyment later!

We all have places where we go to look for food that just feels like a hug. When life gets to be super stressful, you just want to be comforted. This is one of those places. The food is amazing and never a let down. There is no question the pride that goes into the food because you can taste it. It's always full of flavor and they're very considerate about how spicy people like their food. Somedays I want no spice and others, I want to feel like I'm licking the surface of the sun. They have a heat scale from 1-10 and do a great job following it. I always go for the butter chicken, chai tea, and always get some na'an because it's like a hug. The chicken has never been dry and the sauce is always seasoned right and doesnt break. Their chai is always really nice and I can taste the pepper in the mix which sometimes gets lost. The na'an is always an essential for me so I can mop up the sauce from whatever I'm eating. I tried the ice cream this time which I think they make in house. It's absolutely lovely. I think it has a higher fat content than most ice creams, because the texture suggests it's a wee bit over churned. I could eat a gallon of it in one sitting. This is one of the top Asian restaurants in Oklahoma and definitely the best Nepalis/Indian restaurant in Oklahoma. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. ($20 minimum for takeout/ delivery)

My family and I order here every week. I make a point to order from them because I like to support local businesses and family's. Tonight we ordered a family 4 pack paid 43.00. We forgot to hit a button for extra chicken that would add 2 dollars to the order. I went back to the store explained the situation and staff member said that it would be 14 xx after ringing up an extra order of chicken I asked Is there anyway you can adjust the price for me my family and I order with this establishment weekly? She shook her head no. I said okay I'm gonna pay this but u will not be ordering here again. Are you sure there is nothing you can do ? The gentleman that I normally deal with stepped in and repeated what she just said to me. And that there is nothing I can do to adjust the price. I'm upset my husband was wanting a refund and so was my other family member. You food is comparable to tikka craze and that is what I reccomend to you dear reader. Go somewhere where they actually care about repeat service. They obviously do not care about customer loyalty and dont really need to keep business coming. I'd be back again if they reach out and make this right. Sencerly your ex...
