Firehouse Subs Edwardsville Troy Rd. — Restaurant in Edwardsville

I got a sandwich here 2 weeks ago and the cucumbers tasted like they were soaked in some sort of chemical. I got food poisoning for 2 days and when I made the manager of the store aware of this, they agreed that the cucumbers had something wrong with them and took them off the menu. However, they did absolutely NOTHING to make the situation right. I have contacted corporate multiple times and they kept saying the store manager or owner would call me and after 2 weeks now they haven’t. I’ve given them plenty of time to make this right before leaving a bad review. I’m a loyal repeat customer and love going here but this negative experience has made me not want to go back to this location. I had to take 2 days off of work because of the food poisoning and they won’t even refund the money from my order, which is the bare minimum....

We where excited when we found out Firehouse was opening up in E-Ville. We just made our first and probably last visit to this location. The food was as good as the other locations. The problem was the cost.

It cost us $31.80 for a small sub, a medium sub, a bag of chips, a cookie and two drinks. The last time we ate at the Alton location the same meal was around $25.

We won’t be going back to this location...

I was excited for Firehouse to be in Edwardsville but was very disappointed after my first visit today. I asked for an Italian with no onions, but it came with onions and no tomato, with almost no Italian dressing so it was very dry. I also asked for my pickle with it and they said they were out. They were also out of barbecue chips. As a college student who tries to save money, I was excited to splurge and eat here. I hope the food gets better because I love firehouse, but left this location feeling like I had just wasted $14 on a meal I...
