I love mod, hands down my favorite pizza place. Unfortunately, twice I have found the workers to be rather rude. The first experience was a larger group of us that showed up around ten on a Friday night, they did not close until 11. Ordering our food, we could tell these workers were not happy we were there, and we weren’t even the last people to order food. Secondly, today I had ordered half buffalo chicken and half margherita pizza. Usually I only get the Buffalo chicken, but I decided to split it. The lady who was making the pizzas asked if I wanted any sauce on the side, I said yes, balsamic for the margherita. The buffalo chicken always comes with hot sauce drizzled on it, so I didn’t think to order it when it even shows it on the picture in the menu. When I received my pizza, the buffalo chicken had no hot sauce on it, which was not a big deal to me, cause I would just simply ask for a cup of it. Every other time previous to this my boyfriend would ask the person calling out names on pizzas for sauce because we didn’t want to get in the line in front of someone else just to order a single sauce, so when I received my pizza from this man I politely asked him for hot sauce. I know my manners, I said please. The look this man gave shocked me. He said something along the lines of “um yeah once I’m done with all of these pizzas.” I could tell in his voice my simple request to him was like I asked him to donate me a kidney. I wasn’t in a hurry so I just said okay that’s fine. I didn’t mind waiting cause it wouldn’t have taken that long. Well, as I’m waiting, the man says to me, in the most snarky way imaginable, “ya know, we started a new system where you order your sauces at the front so you don’t ask me over here.” I’m shocked, because I know my pizza is suppose to have the sauce on it in the first place, and the fact he said that to me in the way he did was extremely unprofessional. I was not rude to him, we tipped when we payed, and that’s how he chose to respond to me. I walked away without my sauce because I have a short temper, and my boyfriend went up to get ranch because he didn’t care if he had to go wait in the line, and the same man threw the hot sauce down on the counter in front of my boyfriend the way you see someone throw a shot down in the movies. I am extremely upset about this, I wish I would have gotten his name, but he was a younger guy with a beard and mustache wearing a pink beanie, and if something like this ever happens again, I will be speaking with the manger and will not ever be returning to...

(can't be that hard to forget) 5:35 I notice I'm still waiting and the dude running pizzas has stopped asking my name... I'm starting to see people who arrived after me leave with food they ordered when they arrived. 5:45 now it's no longer curbside pickup, as I'm inside asking about my order. There is now a growing group of people waiting for their online orders standing inside the restaurant. The kitchen appears to be run by a person in a complete state of panic. I wait my turn at the register and ask about my order. It was lost and and now my reissued order has been comped (supposedly, because there's no refund as of yet) and supposedly pushed to the front of the line. Others commiserate, sharing their experience since they arrived... mine wasn't the only misplaced order. 6:20 my order is ready
I should add that during this entire ordeal, many came through the restaurant, ordered their food, received it and left. I also observed no safety protocols except for masks... no disinfecting, no distancing. At some point Nick arrived with a big box of latex gloves. I don't know Nick, but the kitchen staff certainly did. The relief among the kitchen staff was audible: "Nick's here!" Props to Nick for improving morale, but why send your best guy out on an errand during a rush?
The pizzas were pretty good but not worth the wait. I witnessed none of the speed mentioned in the other reviews -- frenzy isn't speed. I understand that this was during a school fundraiser, and I've seen a few past fundraisers with restaurants absolutely bursting with people and long lines in the drive-through, and managing to operate efficiently. This...
