I usually don't do bad reviews. However, this has to I usually don't write bad reviews, but I feel like I have to share this experience. My family and I typically travel for Father's Day, and since we were close to home, we decided to stop at an Olive Garden. When we entered, three employees were standing behind the desk but none of them said a word to us. Another employee eventually came, greeted us, and seated us. We ordered drinks and began to chat about our trip, not realizing how much time was passing. After 25 minutes, the waitress came and said, "I know it's been 25 minutes, but we're getting your food now." She then explained that another server had taken our order. It took another 25 minutes for the food to come out, and when it did, it was incorrect. I had ordered chicken but they gave me shrimp, and my son ordered spaghetti and meatballs but received chicken instead. It took an additional 20 minutes to correct the order. Despite all the mishaps, we remained polite and understanding. After the meal, the server asked if we would like a dessert as a gesture of goodwill. However, she informed me that there was only one slice of dessert available, as if the entire family had been inconveniencing them. It was the lack of professionalism and tact that bothered us. She offered to cut up one slice of cheesecake so we could share it.be told. My family and I typically travel for Father's Day. Since we are close to home, we decided to stop at this Olive Garden. Read moreMy boyfriend and I went to Olive Garden on Friday night, excited to enjoy a nice dinner together. While we were browsing the menu, we noticed the BOGO special. Our server mentioned it was their current promotion, but unfortunately, none of the dishes we were interested in were included, so we decided to order from the regular menu instead. My boyfriend went with his usual the Eggplant Parmigiana and I decided to try the new Chicken Marsala.
Everything started off great: the soup, salad, and breadsticks were all delicious. Before our entrees arrived, our server asked if we’d like more breadsticks and we said yes. But when the food came, the breadsticks didn’t, and we never received them.
As soon as the Eggplant Parmigiana was served, we noticed the pasta portion was unusually small. I politely asked another staff member in a dark green apron if that was the normal serving size. He said he wasn’t sure, and when I smiled and thanked him anyway, he just stared back at me blankly almost like he was annoyed I even asked.
When our server returned, she mentioned that the Eggplant Parmigiana comes with a side of pasta and then repeatedly asked my boyfriend if he wanted more, in a tone that felt sarcastic almost like she thought he was trying to get something extra for free. Instead of answering our question about the portion size, she said she’d speak with the manager. However, the manager never came to our table. The server returned and said the manager approved giving him more pasta “as a courtesy,” but my boyfriend declined and just ate his meal.
I moved on and ate my Chicken Marsala, which was flavorful but extremely salty. After that, we barely saw our server again. The extra breadsticks we were promised never came, and no one ever offered dessert or checked in on us.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. From the strange attitude of the staff to the lack of follow-through on simple things like breadsticks and basic service, I honestly don’t understand how this location has a 4-star rating. Definitely a...
Read moreI visited Olive Garden recently and ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana. While placing our order, we noticed a BOGO offer and were excited about it—but we chose to stick with our usual order without making any changes. What followed was a frustrating and frankly unacceptable experience. The portion of spaghetti that came with the dish was shockingly small—barely two bites. I’ve ordered this same meal at multiple Olive Garden locations and have never received such an unreasonably small portion. I pointed this out to the server, making it clear I wasn’t asking for extra food—I simply wanted to know if this was truly the standard portion. Rather than addressing the concern seriously, the server repeatedly pushed, “Do you want more?” completely ignoring the core issue. Eventually, she spoke to a manager and offered me a free takeaway portion, which I declined. I’m not there to scam anyone—I’m there to get what I pay for. I didn’t appreciate the assumption that I was trying to take advantage of anything. On top of that, the server offered additional breadsticks, which never came. No one checked on us after the main course. We waited for someone to ask about dessert—it never happened. We were ignored and ended up leaving without being acknowledged again. The overall experience was disorganized, unprofessional, and left us feeling unwelcome. To be honest, it felt like we were treated differently just because we showed interest in the BOGO offer, which is both unfair and...
