Sneaky's Bar & Burger Joint lives up to its name – it's a hidden gem worth seeking out! Tucked away in a quiet corner of town, this unassuming spot boasts a surprisingly warm and inviting atmosphere. The centerpiece of the cozy dining area is a beautiful fireplace, crackling merrily and casting a warm glow on the exposed brick walls. It's the perfect setting for a relaxed evening, whether you're on a casual date or catching up with friends.
But the real star of the show at Sneaky's is the food. They've clearly prioritized quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. The Wagyu burgers are a must-try. I opted for "The Classic" Wagyu burger, and it was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, the patty practically melting in my mouth. The caramelized onions added a touch of sweetness, while the smoked gouda provided a rich, savory counterpoint. The toasted brioche bun held everything together beautifully. My companion raved about "The Spicy Sneaky," a Wagyu burger with jalapenos, pepper jack cheese and a sriracha mayo, declaring it the perfect balance of heat and flavor.
Beyond the burgers, the mac and cheese is a revelation. Forget the boxed stuff – this is creamy, cheesy goodness at its finest. The blend of sharp cheddar and creamy Gruyere created a symphony of flavor, and the perfectly cooked pasta was coated in a velvety sauce. It was so rich and satisfying that we almost didn't have room for dessert, but we couldn't resist sharing a slice of their homemade apple pie, which was the perfect ending to the meal.
The service at Sneaky's is also noteworthy. Our server, Sarah, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, offering helpful suggestions and checking in on us regularly without being intrusive. The rest of the staff was equally pleasant and efficient.
And the best part? The prices are reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients and the generous portions. Sneaky's offers excellent value for your money, making it a great option for a satisfying and affordable meal.
If I had one minor suggestion, it would be to expand their beer selection. While they had a few local craft brews on tap, a wider variety would complement their delicious burgers even better. However, this is a small quibble in an otherwise fantastic dining experience.
Whether you're a burger aficionado, a mac and cheese lover, or simply looking for a cozy and welcoming spot for a delicious meal, Sneaky's Bar & Burger Joint is a must-visit. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back! Just be sure to get there early, as this popular spot fills up quickly, especially...
Read moreWe came Sunday afternoon after church and we had seating right away. Service was fast. We weren’t sure in a beer and our waitress let us try the Cigar city beer on tap to see if we would like it. It was good but not what we wanted with our burgers. I ordered the Blood Orange on tap and husband got the Summer Shandy on tap. Both were fresh and hit just right. We ordered the Borrochua tots for the table. That was plenty for the 5 of us. We gave our kids the tots on the side without as much jalapeno and then split the egg over the top. Excellent flavors! Thoroughly enjoyed . Everyone enjoyed their burgers. My one kiddo said the bacon on his burger was a little too cooked for his taste, husband agreed with tasting them by themselves but said they tasted good on the burger. I liked them both on the burger and by themselves so personal taste for sure. I would say if you don’t want them too cooked, maybe let them know light cook on bacon maybe? Husband had the Dingus which he said was excellent. I tried it and must have gotten a bite with all peanut butter, that’s all I could taste. I got the GOAT and all the flavors hot just right. The only thing I might change would be to ask for a little more cherry compote. Would definitely return. Eco hut jig was fresh, very hot, flavor spot on:...
Read moreI cannot believe that I did not know of this place sooner! It really has it all. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is good and tasty. The drinks are fantastic. This menu really stands out on its own. Their burgers reminded me of Crave Real Burgers in Colorado in terms of quality and price. While I was here, I even noticed a sign welcoming veterans. I thought that was unique and amazing. Another thing unique to me was the tribute mural to Anthony Bourdain on the wall near the back door. I am really impressed by this wonderful establishment. Peyton is the perfect bartender and I always feel safe while she is working (and she should be promoted, for sure). To be fair, I feel safe in general at this location. All of the staff are pretty cool and accommodating. Did I mention that they have music, karaoke and open mic nights (next to a very pleasant fireplace)? So, oh yeah, there's that too. I have even played Chess at this location with a gentleman who brings his own Chess board here. I might be over excited, since I am new to this town, but in my opinion I am not over complimenting this place. I just couldn't say enough about it, really. Thank you for being so cool, all...
