Franco's Giant Pizza — Restaurant in El Cajon

This place has very average pizza n food! Nothing that screams I gotta have it or go back again. I tried different pizzas a few times to see if theres a difference there wasn't. Sandwiches are ok very over priced as the chicken wings n they dont give pickles on the side with sandwiches... very over priced for stand alone sandwiches n hot wings. I find this place to be below average n very over priced for the quality n portions and a carry out joint! The Oil for fried foods isn't being changed out accordingly cuz fries were very dark brunt looking n taste bad! I did give this place several tries to try different foods on menu before writing this review! All tho service is really good n important but we cant eat the service lol. They charge more than a dine in restaurants with less over head n quality n portions are so not there. If you want authentic Italian pizza and sandwiches or Italian dishes period, you gotta try Pesto Testo on main st in El Cajon. All of their dishes are delicious and their pizza is to die for and same price as this place if not cheaper and the quality n flavor very Italian n portions is above what you expect so so delicious..not to mention the service is Phenomenal!!! They're so clean n on top of everything the owner n workers sprays n wipes down tables n chairs after each customer. They make their own bread to die for that comes with all of ur meals even with pizza! You havent tried this place your missing out big time! My whole family we get together there at least once a wk! But as for Franco's gaint pizza more of just a kids bd party pizza joint... sooo over priced as if it's a full service restaurant n if so, food still not worth the...

I need to say it, the owners do not think we know what a coupon is meant for. When I first discovered this place online, I evaluated their menu options and skimmed through their coupons. As consumers, we are built to know that coupons mean discounts... But what these people do is provide "coupons" that merely combine menu items, along with the price to match. More suggestions than discounts. I laugh about this but I do take offense as a consumer that they seem to not expect us to do the math.

As for their food, I have had their pizza, Greek style chicken, side salads and lasagna. The chicken is sometimes very dry, and their lasagna is good but a bit small.

The last time I was there in person, they provided a large stack of paper menus which I opted to choose from, and though the guy KNEW I was using that to order from, he didn't tell me until I had ordered my food that the price was higher than that menu because those are old, and he showed me the huge wall in front of me with the new prices. Alright, my fault for not noticing BUT WHY KEEP OUTDATED MENUS IN REACH IF IT IS JUST GOING TO CONFUSE PEOPLE??? Jeeze. Anyway, the price of the item I wanted was raised a dollar, and then the guy convinced me to buy a side salad for another $2, and since this was a meal intented to share, I thought it would be worth the added price. And to encourage me that it was a "good value," he told me the salads are normally $3, but for that meal it would only be $2, but since he already said the price of what I ordered went up a dollar...ultimately it's...

Sam at Franco’s Giant Pizza saved my sons (turning 4 and 1 years old) birthday party! We were calling Costco (naughty us, we should have been supporting local businesses) all day the day before with no answer, and their website said to just show up and order. My brother-in-law showed up when Costco’s Food Court opened at 10am when my sons’ birthday party started, and the pizzas weren’t going to be ready for two hours! Eek. We called Franco’s Giant Pizza out of desperation before they even opened (we were frantic and didn’t know their hours), the owner Sam answered, and said he’d fire up the oven early! He found out how far away we were and called us when the pizzas had 10 minutes to bake left since we were 10 minutes away! He even texted and said he’d cut the pizzas into more slices to make sure we had enough to go around. He was a super nice guy and saved our kiddos’ party! I don’t know what we would have done without him, most pizza parlors aren’t even open at that hour. The pizzas were delicious and we had plenty to go around. They were ready quickly and he even threw in a complimentary Greek salad. Thank thank you thank you! BTW our friend’s 15 month old is a super picky eater and they were amazed when he chowed...
