The Phoenix Bar — Restaurant in El Centro

Stopped in for Karaoke. The KJ uses karafun but doesn't really know how to use it. While he has a sign up list he doesn't know how to utilize the karafun program to put singers in. He doesn't pay for the access to get songs from other KJs. He likes to smoke 🌿 which I don't care either way but he smokes too much and forgets where's he's at on the list and can't read the words by 11. Would definitely not recommend after 11pm unless they get a different KJ. The guy working had a light complexion with a red beard. The bar tenders were awesome and tried to keep him on track. He told me at 12am that he'd probably only go for another hour because of the lack of singers. There were at least 5 there buying dinks and waiting their turn but he kept singing himself. If it were any KJ at my local establishments he would have been fired for such poor behavior. They started cleaning at 1 regardless of the patrons still there. It made it feel weird even though...
