Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in El Paso

I love Chipotle, it's always a great go-to after a workout! It sucks that inflation has hit pretty hard and as a result even Chipotle has raised prices yet again, but it happens and it's to be expected with rising costs of just about everything nowadays.

This particular location I am giving a 4 star review, mainly because it can be hit or miss for me due to different circumstances.

A few times I have ordered from here through the app, I've not been fully satisfied with my order. I will give certain examples of what I mean.

There have been a few times that I ordered burrito bowls with chicken and the chicken has been bland and had no seasoning that I could taste, and it ruined the experiences a bit. Another time I ordered through the app so that I could be in and out quickly instead of waiting in a long line to get my food, and instead of it being ready in about 10 minutes like it usually takes, it took me a little over 30 minutes just to get my food.

With all that being said, this location is usually pretty good, but do beware that there are times where things won't be 100% and you may be left unsatisfied for one reason or another. I really wish I could give them 5 stars, but I'm just trying to be as honest as I can and let other people know about my experiences so that they can be aware of possibilities that can also...

Despite its deceiving name, Chipotle manages to deliver a high quality product.

This is not a mexican joint. Nowhere in mexico will you find a chipotle-style burrito or bowl. And, they in Chipotle don't have regular mexican dishes at all. They call themselves mexican because they sell rice and beans among their ingredients, I guess, but that's about it.

Being all that said, what they do sell is tasty and on the healthy side (something nobody would accuse real mexican food of being).

It's wraps. They sell wraps of meat, starch and veggies to taste. You get to build your own wrap Subway-like choosing between fresh ingredients. You can make it a bowl of you're not into tortillas and want to go lean.

This is the Subway of wraps, come to think of it. The ingredients are fresh and nicely done, tasty, and they give you chips at the end.

This store in particular is very well run, clean and with friendly staff. They're quick and often have a line to order, so don't fret as it will move swiftly.

Normally I love chipotle and I'm really not one to write reviews of a poor experience but I am beginning to become very frustrated with the location on George Dieter. Due to COVID I order thru door dash for pick up or delivery depending. I order probably once a week to be honest. And I haven't had my order be 100% correct EVER! There is always something missig.. salad dressing, cheese, sour cream... today had me super frustrated. I was missing the tomato salsa(I checked the order, it was on there) but on top of that, compared to my husband's bowl it looked like half a bowl. They fulfilled the extra steak portion (thank goodness) but it was as if everything else was at half. Normally I only eat one half and then the other my son eats or I take to lunch the next day. This was insane. My husband's bowl was perfect but mine was just like this is all we had on the line and don't feel like getting more. It's not enough to make me stop eating at a chipotle but enough to make sure its not...
