Located adjacent to the movie theater, within a 5 mile radius of three hotels, Walmart, and other places to shop, Clasico has much to offer Westside residents. The trees outside are also decorated, the same as the posts along the patio, with small strings of ornamental lighting. Parking is spacious, all servers are friendly, a dedicated hostess is at the front of the house and both indoor and outdoor seating is available. Arrive before the dinner crowd or a big game and grab a seat to enjoy a meal. There are booths available but the mixer tables inside give it a modern vibe. The TVs are parallel to the booths and bar area. If you arrive with a crowd larger than four, consider sitting on the patio, it is a little more roomy, with a guarantee the staff will be equally attentive to indoor and outdoor patrons.
The ambiance is inviting to all ages, and each dish tips it's hat to original Mexican recipes, with a unique spin to the Anericana bar and grill. Here you will find a more authentic flavor than that which you might find across the street at the overcrowded Chili's. Everything is made to order. Try an appetizer like the Toro Eggs or their take on Queso Fundido, along with a Clamato to get you started.
While all plates and appetizers sound and look delicious, the menus look to be designed poorly, with bitmapped images of the food and too many style of typefaces, color and not a clear sense of being proofread, nor professional design. The signage outdoors are clear and evident, with consistent branding on the glassware, uniforms and interior decor.
The restrooms are clean and decorated with prints of James Dean and other iconic imagery.
The service is very good and all staff members are knowledgeable about the recipes. Whether you're just in the neighborhood and looking a place to have a good time with friends or trying to find a great place to eat on Mesa St. that stays open past 5PM, Clasico Kitchen and Bar is a sure find and is anything other than a hole...
Read moreWhen we first arrived, I wondered where all the customers were. We were the only people there and it took the waitress awhile to take our drink order. We quickly figured out why the business has gone down in this place. The waitress took our appetizer and took forever to take our food order. We had to flag down the waitress to ask if the Toro eggs no longer came with the old sauce it usually came with, she responded with no, only ranch. We had to once again flag her down and go up to the bar to ask for more refills while she and her co worker were sitting down talking. she didnât prebus our table and dropped off our entrees. Our daughterâs food came way after our food. The reason why Iâll give this place a 3 instead of a one is because the food was good and the waitress was very friendly, she just lacked attention to detail and service. When we left no one told us goodbye or invited us back as they usually do at other restaurants. I can see why this place is no longer getting the business it used to. Very slow service for being the only...

We walked in and were seated right away but no server ever came to give us a menu or ask us what we wanted to drink, finally after we stopped a server we then got the menu, we orders 3 clamatos that took 20 minutes to come out, and were not prepared correctly (missing items that itâs suppose to have). When we ask for the items it took our serve another 20 minutes just to bring it out. Then it took 45 minutes for two burgers to come out. When the manager came out to ask us how was everything we started telling him when our server David came over and rudely interrupted and started to get confrontational with us. Finally we decided it was time to leave we ask for our checks and and told him 2 separate checks when I went up to pay my check I told him that I wanted to pay my tab and he charged me the whole table When I asked about it he said I thought you where paying for the whole table.
Why would we ask for separate checks if I was paying for the...
