Service was great by Bailey , however I did not order macaroni elbow pasta in my beans, although that's how it was served to me... when I asked for butter for the cornbread muffins I was brought margarine instead!! There were no wipes at all on the table had to ask for those in order to clean your hands from the barbecue sauce from the ribs!! As a retired businessman I was under the impression you lead by example, however I didn't see a single member of the management team trying to help the short-handed staff that was at this Famous Dave's on Mesa st!! I actually felt bad for the host the to go Hostess and the servers at this facility!! I can assure you that the response from Famous Dave's will be as follows; that due to the pandemic we are short-handed and apologize for any shortcomings with your visit and please allow us to make it up to you by visiting us again. I wish these companies would stop blaming the pandemic for their shortcomings! Why can't management step up to the plate and help the servers and the hosts and hostesses so they do not receive reviews such as this one and therefore there will be no need to give an excuse as to why your facility is not running up to speed and Par! And to put the icing on the cake there was no chicken available! We were told by our server after we put our order in and she returned to the table to inform us of this issue! Someone who is in charge of ordering product so there is plenty on hand for the customer fell short at this task! It is Management's job to oversee this and make sure there is plenty of product at all times!!! Therefore may be corporate should speak to management about their shortcomings in running a facility...
Read moreTold twenty minutes, online order took closer to 70 minutes from order time. Ordered online and it stated it would be ready in twenty minutes. Showed up and walked in twenty minutes later. Waited in line and when I arrived at the front was told it would be another fifteen to twenty minutes. Room was full of about nine people waiting for their orders. All of them looking like they had been there a while. Went to the car for a few then came back. What I didn't realize right away was some of the others waiting were door dash drivers picking up food and the rest were people just like me just getting frustrated with the wait. Checked on my order again... still wasn't ready. I received something on my phone making it appear I had received my order but I had not. Not sure if it was when I checked on my order and them making it look like I picked up my order sooner than I did. I still had a long wait from that point. People walking in to dine were told the wait was an hour to an hour and a half and just walking out. Parking lot still had some parking, didn't look that bad from outside. People began cancelling orders which helped me. I was about to but they came out with some food and called my name. At home food tasted great.....I was very hungry at this point as well though. When ordering online look at the options in the drop down box. They have curbside, pickup inside and probably the third delivery.... Thought it would be quick...
Read moreI paid for a to-go order around 4 pm on New year's eve and atendant and I agreed to pickup such order around 7 pm. I returned the restaurant around 7:40 and clerk reported there was an additional 2 hours delay. I feel frustrated, but decided to wait. During my wait time I noticed attendant released orders under one specific name to someone else requesting the same kind of order, stating the original customer did not showed. I understood that happened with my order. That would be the only reasonable explanation for such delay. I would understand such criteria for unpaid orders, in which is better to prevent loss, for a Paid order like mine this criteria is unacceptable. This poor criteria messed up my new year's reunion and had to return money for such reunion attendants which were not happy with such ridiculous delay. From my perspective the refund they offer was not satisfactory due to the damage caused to my reunion. From my point of view they mishandled orders. Attendant did no like my valid frustration when asking for a valid justification for the delay, and she even denied to put sauce my order, which was released 9:36 PM... two hours later of the original...
