The paleta bar El paso tx — Restaurant in El Paso

I typically enjoy coming but I came all the way from horizon to try their Dubai strawberries and was so disappointed. They don’t use “pistachio butter” it’s more like green milk they put on it. Real Dubai chocolate has a pistachio compote that is thick and creamy. Next the chocolate doesn’t taste like much. It doesn’t even taste like almond bark. And lastly the kaitifi is not even mixed in with the “butter” it is added on top. So it tastes like hay with milk and watery chocolate. The strawberries were soggy and old. Wonderful! A new place to have a evening chat and enjoy with a little dessert. So far we tried coffee, coconut, lime popsicle. Coffee dipped in dark chocolate was amazing, coconut popsicle was also dipped into dark chocolate & almonds(basically almond joy) lime popsicle was made into mangoneada with chamoy, fruit juice & fresh fruits & tamarindo. Each one separately as popsicle is under 5 bucks. Will try more flavors next and post more comments.

After waiting a year for the paleta bar to open, I was a bit disappointed with the overall experience. I was hoping to try the chips ahoy paleta with piñones but they didn’t have it today. The dipped paletas with fruit are $8.75 with tax each. I ended up spending $28.42 for three paletas. The paleta bar in Albuquerque are $1.25 cheaper than here in El Paso. Michoacana Is $3.75 per paleta and have as much variety as here. These paletas are great but considering the price, I don’t see a whole family with kids coming to this...
