Jason's Deli — Restaurant in El Paso

Wow! Do you like food? I mean, lots of food? If so, you'll like Jason's deli then. The portion sizes are monstrous. For their chicken Alfredo, the "light" serving is about bigger than a full meal at olive garden.

And the baked potatoes? Forget about it. They're huge! A baked potato I had once from here was the size of a nerf football. And that was HALF of a potato, not even a whole potato. It's crazy.

The manager's special (choice of sandwich with a cup of soup and potato chips) is always a great deal, and filling as well.

They operate a salad bar too, and it was open currently (mid/late '21). Not big on it myself, but the olives they had looked good. They also offer free muffins and nuts with the salad bar.

This particular location is very lightly trafficked, even in pre-covid times.

And that' s about it... Oh wait, they have FREE ICECREAM TOO!

We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. They have an excellent, well-stocked, well-maintained salad bar. There appeared to be one employee assigned to the salad bar. During my last two visits the salad bar was either being kept clean (and, thus, very presentable) or was being restocked. Thus, it was always inviting and, in my opinion, delicious. The service and courtesy of the employees is at a level beyond so many other establishments. In fact, many of THEM could take lessons from this Jason's Deli. My wife knew they served salmon (she LOVES well prepared salmon) and she asked if they had a salmon salad. The young man replied they did not have that on the menu, BUT that it could easily be prepared for her. His courtesy and professionalism were most impressive. This is the only Jason's Deli that we have been to, but rest assured, we WILL be returning...

Great sandwiches and salad bar. You want to go for the Reuben. Big, nice, tasty, done perfectly. Also, the tomato soup is very good. This place is nice and well designed. Salad bar? Fresh and super clean. It almost looks upscale and certainly it is a little on the expensive side, but the ingredients are fresh and there flavor is full and satisfying.

Not ready to call it a fast food place. These people take care on their job.

You can get a soup and salad with as many trips as you want to the salad bar, or maybe a soup and half sandwich, very good deal as well, or just a regular sized soup, it's all good.

The bar has fresh veggies and greens, potato and pea salads, hard eggs, dry cookies, cold pasta, and sweet stuff for dessert. It's hard to get disappointed with this kind of selection.

Staff is very friendly as well....
