La Michoacana Snacks and Ice Cream — Restaurant in El Paso

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - 2 popsicle with the first being an avocado bar dipped in chocolate and covered with nuts (esquimales) and the second being a Gansito which is based on a Mexican snack cake with a strawberry flavored jelly, cream center cake, and chocolate sprinkles and some coating. The avocado one is quite interesting and gets very creamy in the middle. The gansito is extremely sweet but I loved it. Who can turn down an ice cream cake on a stick?!

Ambience: n/a - ordered food to go. Lots of Valentine’s Day decorations up but clean and neat overall

Service: 5/5 - very very friendly and talked us through all the different options and tried her best to explain what everything was since it’s all so foreign to us. Gave recommendations and was willing to provide samples for us to try

I paid eighteen dollars for strawberries and cream in a cup ($7), a mango con chamuy popsicle ($4), and corn in a cup ($7). Shortly before coming, I paid the same price for two plates of Chinese food with two additional eggrolls, and two sodas. So paying the same price for these three things at La Michoacana was ludicrous. I wasn't going to leave a review but what really set it off was the fact that the corn in a cup was cold, underneath lukewarm at best. So the butter didn't melt above the cold corn. That's disgusting, I'm sorry.

The only thing worth getting here is the popsicles which may be this place's specialty but $4 is just barely,...

Avoid they just replied and it seems they don’t care about checking that their products are “high quality”.. Led by young adults/teenagers. Polite but very disorganized. And the food tastes old. Everything overpriced. Not coming back. Definitely not for families. Music super loud. Would have been nice to know but no no manager in sight. So your reply doesn’t mean anything. Also, you don’t even acknowledge or try to help customers so that means you don’t care about customer experience or facts. And no your products might be high quality when they first stock it. But definitely they were old products from a week ago because all the milk products...
