I placed my order through the McDonald's app and approached the lit-up menu to provide my app code for the order. The gentleman mentioned that the system that read the codes was down. I went ahead and placed my order for 2 coffees and a blue berry pie. The line moved extremely slow but that does not surprise me. When I got to the first window to pay, the lady asked me if I had the two coffees order and I said yes, not thinking that they excluded the blue berry pie and I went ahead and paid. I made a mistake that I didn't ask to confirm the order, check receipt and I should have not assumed that the pie was included. When I drove up to the pick-up order window, they handed me my two coffees and I asked for the blueberry pie and the girl mentioned that it was not included in the order. She asked kindly if I wanted her to charge me for pie and I said yes taking out my wallet once more. As she turned around to charge my card for the pie, a lady by the name of Daphne (I'm assuming she was a manager or shift leader) told her that there were no charges at this Window. The girl went ahead to ask what she could do on her end and the manager/supervisor told her to let me know that I can leave without it or drive around and order again through the drive-thru. I got bother and asked for the managers name, and the girl was hesitant to say it out loud. I took my card back and drove off with no pie. Yes, I understand that fast food companies are understaffed but the customer service is also going out the window, it saddened me to experience this especially coming fom someone in a leadership position.

Read moreI went to the newly renovated location for two reasons. One was to get another Toy Story 4 toy and also to see the new digs. Well, they had no Toy Story toys and since the display clearly showed some, my son was incredibly disappointed because he's trying to collect them. The new building is nice, but not very functional. There are 2 tables that light up, but were taken and now my son was sad cuz our table didn't light up. We ended up at these kind of lounge chairs that were way too far from the table. My son ate standing up. There were no cups for the ketchup, no napkin dispensers and the trash cans were overflowing. I like to have my son order for himself for practice, he's 5, and he was having trouble because they didn't have the toys he was expecting and the employee taking our order just stared at him, no apology, no smile, just stood there.
