09/27/2020 I visited ojos with a group of friends for a going away dinner. I ordered a 12 piece 1/2 buffalo 1/2 plain wings fries and a long island iced tea.
A little while after the table gets their drinks they ordered. No long island
My food comes out awhile later all buffalo wings I don't complain. I ask my waitress about the Long Island that never arrived she said "We don't have any" I count the wings because I plan to split with my wife and there's one short.
I go to the register where she is at the bar and tell her I'm a wing short and did not get my fries. She said "I will get them".
About 30 minutes goes by my waitress returns to the table to see if anyone needs drinks. I reminded her again of my fries and wing. She said ok.
It has now been 2 hours since I've placed my original order. The waitress comes with our recites low and behold it reads
12 Wings Bone In $14.49 Pappas Fritas. $4.29
Subtotal. $18.78 Tax. $1.55
Total. $20.33
I tell her I still never received my fries or the 1 wing. She says she'll fix it. Goes comes back I hand her my card and she charges me the $20.33 Still. This time I ask to speak to the manager.
The manager is helpful says he will fix it. Which you can't fix 2 hours of someone's wasted time when all I wanted is what I ordered and was going to pay for.
Anyways the manager told her to refund me for the fries. My 1 wing wasn't important I guess. She brings me $4 dollar bills I can't make this up. I remind you the fries were $4.29 + tax. I ask the manager for a copy of the full recite then I leave out of my food and money.
Moral of the story (Lauren) our server did not do her job. I was not part of the conversation with her and her manager but I can imagine she thought I was lying which I have no reason to. I was informed the bud lights, and ultras were $1.49 plus tax, incredible but true. I asked again just to be sure, and she confirmed it. When I got my check, the beers were $3.99 each, I asked for management to make sure we were on the same page. At this moment, I waited a little while before a girl came, and said how can I help you with a mad face. I told her what what's going on, and all she replied said give me a second, she sent a gentleman to solve the situation. He asked me what was going on? So again I repeated, what had happened. At the end the waitress, and the manager guy, asked to come to the register, where they showed me the beers were marked at $1.49, but they had to press something else where at the end the beers will show a price of $3.99. At the end I don't really care what, or how you have to ring up the orders, all I asked how much were the drinks. If would've known they were $3.99 I would've asked for something else, period. I decided to stop another day so I could talk to the general manager, and all he said was we are humans we make mistakes. I only can give you $6 dollars back if you want. So I asked how was that amount calculated or why get that much of a refund, he replied I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I have a witness here in case you don't want to take the money. Read moreThis used to be one of my favorite places to hang out with my girls. We have celebrated birthdays there, girls night, long day at work, even came during lunch a couple times. Food is good, music good, drinks were a lil pricey but delicious, but my last experience there has made me turn my back to it. There wasn’t a long table available inside to fit the people coming to a bday celebration we were having for my best friend. So we were ok sitting outside, it was about 530 ish. Started to get really warm and I asked if they could open 1 of the garage doors so we could get some air circulating. Waitress came back and said that the manager said no not till 7pm. So I asked to speak to him , he came to my table and said he won’t open the door because it defeats the purpose of having the a/c on for the customers inside... ooook, so what am I! Am I not a customer as well? I even said what about at least half way just so we could catch a breeze , we were all sweating trying to to enjoy our appetizers. He was still like nope sorry with a smirky attitude.
