Before my review just wanna say... The bread is to die for it’s so good !- When I first went to canes I was excepting more.... the place is very nice inside and outside but that food I had problems with. One I felt the chicken was TO OILY. I used a napkin and I drained the oil and the napkin was filled with oil. I also did that with the bread and fries this is place is VERY unhealthy I know that’s it’s a chicken place that literally serves everything with chicken but at least make it a little bit more health. And also the restroom doors will not close witch isn’t good bc if your gonna have a restaurant make sure everything works all the time so u don’t have problems. The workers were nice except this lady she was very rude to me and my friends. I dislike the food and that my opinion. I will not be going back to canes it’s way to oily (it’s super unhealthy) at least make it more healthy. And please explain why were the ppl behind the kitchen not wearing gloves or maybe they were but I didn’t see any. But canes is a nice place for a family to eat or friends to hang out but it’s not for me These are my honest thoughts of canes. Most workers are nice but I very much dislike the food to oily for me but still ppl would love to eat there but not me. Oh and last thing when I went for the first time ever I didn’t like that I was greeted by a rude worker but that was the only rude worker we came across. Thank you I hope you get time to...
Read moreIn the last month, I have attend a few school fundraisers at this location. I don't understand why school organizations keep partnering with Raising Cane's (RC) for fundraising. RC says "We can partner with your school or organization to host a fundraiser, with 15% of Net Sales* from mentions at the Restaurant" but they don't allow the kids to encourage customers to support them. All they can do is hold signs and management even gets picky about what the signs say. It's ridiculous that this nationwide chain that claims to "support over 30,000 local organiztions" and has endless drive-thru lines on the daily has a problem with school organizations trying to fundraise successfully. If parting with 15% of your net sales to truly support this community is so detrimental to your business then don't offer to partner for fundraising events. EL PASOANS PLEASE pick and support restaurants that actually do care about this community and support successful...
Read moreMy son had told the family that the dine in option was something to be experienced, so we went to try it out. I am handicapped and don't move around so easily but the walk up and seating was not difficult for me, appreciated. They have floor personnel who check to ensure that you have all that you need. We always try to have fun and I saw that my wife and sons each had a long French fry. In jest I enquired where was mine? We all had a laugh and continued to dine. Shortly afterwards she returned to our table with a fry box and presented it to me. Upon opening it I was presented with the champion of fries! We all laughed so heartfully our day was made. My life is not easy after I was injured and I am at times reluctant to interact with today's world. That little lady and that restaurant gifted me with an excellent lunch, and faith and I am very grateful.
Thank you; Rick...
