I have been several times to this place and love it every single time.... but today at approximately 12:10 I walked in with my coworkers and was going to grab lunch.... the girl that helped us was extremely rude since the beginning.. i had sat down and she was taking our drink orders.. when she got to me I told her my drink and I also proceeded to tell her I was ready to order my food, with a rude tone she said i needed to wait because she was just getting drinks... I usually order everything in one so they can put my order in since I have a very limited hour of lunch and most places take long to give the food so I waited... when she was ready to come and order our foods I told her I wanted the doggy special which is a hot dog and fries... she took forever to bring my food by the time she did she threw the order to me on the table didn't Even bother to go next to me and put it... by this time I needed to go back to work so I wasn't able to eat my food and asked her for a plate to go... she rolled her eyes gasped for air and walked away... there was no need for her rudeness my hot dog didn't even get to enjoy it because I was upset on how she was acting... I never have a issue with the owner he's always so nice and attentive but today the girl that was there ruined the service for several people... hope you have a chance to talk to her and let her know that's not how customers are treated.. if she's that unhappy then she is in the...
Read moreWe have gone almost 2 times a week for the past 2 months. If you want authentic "Tex-mex Juarez Street food", (in a restaurant) this is the perfect place!! There is hamburgers, Tacos, hot dogs, combo French fries, doritos nachos, delicious prepared alcoholic drinks like micheladas and clamatos and have awesome specials for drinks, Taco Tuesdays and lunch specials. This place is perfect for a first date or a large group. The wait for the food is no more than 10 min and the staff is so attentive. I specially recommend the doggy fries. We ALWAYS get some. Its 11 out of 10. Perfect atmosphere clean restrooms, clean restaurant, HANDICAP ACCESIBLE, awesome staff. (the food packs allot of delicios toppings especially the tacos). If you say you didnt like it cuz it was messy eating it, then that's outrageous! This is how this food is supposed to be, dont be afraid to get your hands messy!! ENJOY the food!! If you think there is too many toppings and like to eat more tortilla than meat, order More tortillas! 😂 that's the point of this style of food!! We have been here 8 times and counting, NEVER disappointed. Dont beleive me? Check out my reviews, I'm sincere and dont leave out the details. So I'm not lying about this place. Absolutely delicious. ❤
Edit; this place jacked up the prices by a long shot. We don't come here as often anymore. Still...
Read moreI had the Diablito bratwurst and my boyfriend had the animal style hot dog.
The Diablito had a cold pretzel bun, not room temperature, but cold, as if the bun itself had been in the fridge. It does come with a slaw, which was good, but the bun was not it. I ended up removing the bun entirely. The bratwurst was definitely overcooked, it was hard to bite into or cut with the plastic knife they gave us. Even the size of the bratwurst was off. Usually they are plump and juicy when you bite into it. This was much smaller than your average bratwurst, it was about the same size of a regular hot dog in girth. You know how when you over cook a bratwurst, it gets super dry and shriveled. Yeah, it wasn’t good.
The animal style hot dog was just alright. I understand that these hot dogs are normally filled with an abundance of toppings, which my boyfriend doesn’t mind. However, the hotdog was also overcooked, you can see how slim and shriveled the hot dog was as well. Plastic texture.
Our orders arrived separately, which was odd, we like to enjoy our meals together, so we had to wait until we both had our food. Oddly enough the bratwurst arrived last with a “cold bun”.
We had elote and fries, and that’s what helped, I guess. The lemonade was great, best item we had for our dinner. Altogether, it was $42 for 2 hot dogs, 2 lemonades, 1 elote and 1...
