Side Door Liquor Store — Restaurant in El Paso

Great place, just a little small, but it's open till later than in Texas, so it's great after 9pm. The only downside to this place is the people who go there to buy beer. It's a little tiny place, and because of COVID, they are only allowing 3 in people at a time, so there's always a line, and inevitably, there's always the person who goes and holds up the line to buy a 12 pack of Michelob Ultras. Why don't you just go across the street to Walmart to buy beer? Or the circle K? Why do you have to come to a liquor store to this buy beer? I could understand if you are buying some crazy micro brewed API, or something like that, but Michelob Ultra? The one beer that's always out in the window, so they have to ask the poor guy who works there to go get it for them from the back. Do everyone a favor and go to the Shell to get your Ultras. I visited this place after eating next door, just to see what they had in stock. To my surprise they carried a bottle of liquor that I had been searching for. Not only did they carry it but it was well priced. After talking to the two lovely employees about my search and soon flight out of town, they helped me package my bottle securely so it would be safe on my flight. The amount of customer service I experienced here was second to none and well deserving of 5 stars. I will be back to this store for more anytime I come...

Always courteous. Extremely knowledgeable. Well stocked with all your favorites. Their prices beat any that I have found in El Paso. If you know where the State Line Restaurant is located, then my recommendation is if you are on the East side you to plan to have dinner, and then visit the Side Door!
