One of the worst restaurant experiences ever. My sushi was warm and missing ingredients the menu said it came with but I ate it anyway, which later I regretted bc it made my stomach very upset. the worst part was my girlfriends meal. She ordered teriyaki chicken that came out suspiciously quick (within 5 minutes of ordering). The rice was good but the chicken was so terrible she couldn’t swallow the first bite. I thought it couldn’t be that bad so I tried it too but I couldn’t either. It was a disgusting taste of old or raw meat. When the server (I think owner) came by to check on us she asked if we were done and wanted a box for the teriayaki meal. We kindly said no and explained we didn’t like it. She argued w us saying it’s the most popular dish and that chicken was fresh brought in that day which was also suspicious bc we didn’t mention anything about it tasting old. Then the check was dropped off at full price. We paid and tipped but decided we’re never coming back and were so grossed out that we’re probably giving up...
Read moreNot Good…I really wanted to like this place and after I saw the reviews I decided to go for lunch, I ordered the ramen and my wife got sushi rolls, my ramen was honestly the worse I’ve had…they use either a Miso or soy sauce broth and in the past traditional ramen I’ve had is made with pork broth and pork belly, this was more like a healthy version of Ramen with lots of veggies (no meat of any) and a bland Soy sauce broth…it just wasn’t good and the noodles tasted like Top Ramen which isn’t bad but top ramen only cost 30 cents at your local grocery store and not 11$. I saw a few reviews that said their ramen was good but it sounds like these people have no idea what ramen is suppose to taste like. The Rolls were just ok..the Vegas roll had a weird taste so I had one 1 and the El Paso was better but not by much, the rice in the roll tasted soggy. The service was great but unfortunately I would never go back or could recommend this restaurant to...
Read moreMy husband and I were very disappointed. We hadn't been here in years and it was not as good as we remembered it. We ordered 2 Chirachi boxes and the rice was lacking flavor. There wasn't enough variety of fish and ingredients on top of the bed of rice. It was missing the seaweed salad, tofu, etc. We have had Chirachi boxes in other places in El Paso and other cities and we can say that this was our least favorite. The fried sushi roll tasted so much like old oil. Our waiters didn't ask if we needed anything else. The restaurant's temperature was so warm, we couldn't really enjoy our meal. The Japanese beer was cold so that sort of saved the meal. Too bad they never offered us more. It's sad to say that we will not be...
