Taco Bell — Restaurant in El Paso

I ordered Nacho fries from there and a drink. When I bit into the nacho fries I tasted some kind of kitchen cleaner or something that wasn’t food and it burned my throat bad and I had to spit the food out. When I called I tried to tell the lady what happened and she immediately cuts me off and says “what’s the name on the order”. And I said “okay, well if you don’t want to hear what I have to say then can you just refund me for the fries I ordered? The name is Robert.” She says “I am not gonna refund you for something you didn’t order.” “I said excuse me? What is your name?” I kept repeatedly asking for her name but she just hung up on me. I had to drive back there. When I get there the manager plays stupid like he doesn’t understand what’s going on. I explain to him that I DID order the fries. I just want my refund. Why would I lie? He just kept saying “you’d be surprised” over and over again, basically saying that he thought I was lying as well. I explained to him that I wasn’t gonna argue with him and that I just wanted him to pull-up my order but he refused stating that there were five orders under Robert and that even though I drove there a 2nd time he would not assist me. When I asked the name of the girl that I spoke to on the phone to give to corporate or whatever he said “she just left”. So he knew about me all along because he immediately knew who I spoke with and was already planning on denying me the refund ahead of time. Embarrassing but to be...

I stopped in to pick up some lunch at this location after shopping with my Mom early February 2nd... I ordered on my app ahead like I usually do... I accidentally placed my order at a Las Cruces location... The young lady(Ms Alex)assured me that this was not a problem that she could not fix fairly easily... And she not only fixed this issue for me... But she hands down provided me with the "Best" customer service I have ever experienced... That's to include fancy five star restaurants and country clubs... I would like to recommend Ms Alex for a raise and commend the crew she was working with as well... This location has a great atmosphere... It is not only convenient and appealing to the eye... The staff on this day were very welcoming and helpful... As I witnessed not only for my Mother and I but to the other patrons on site this day... I unfortunately deleted the photos taken this day as I intended to write this review immediately... Had lunch here today. 5 stars for food & service! Subtracted 4 stars for lack of cleanliness where Covid is concerned: They were VERY concerned about everyone entering being required to wear a mask. Yet, they were absolutely UNCONCERNED about cleaning/sanitizing tables and order kiosk after customer use. Customers take masks off to eat, so what's the point in requiring a mask to walk in? Since customers are not wearing masks at their tables, wouldn't cleaning each table after each use be a priority? When I arrived, there were 2 tables taken; I sat at an empty table that had obviously NOT been cleaned after the last customer used it. During the 30 minutes I was there, I watched the other 2 parties leave and those 2 tables were NOT cleaned before other custimers arrived and sat there. The kiosk that everyone touches with their dirty hands was never cleaned either. If this place is unconcerned about Covid at the tables and at the Kiosk, then they should not require masks to enter and order. I will not eat here again until they discontinue their...
