Union Draft House Sunland — Restaurant in El Paso

We went here to have dinner before the fireworks at Solano Mall. The food was not even hot. Everything that was served to us was room temperature. The tater tots were cold, sodas were flat, the wings were cold, the sandwich was dry, the hamburger was warm, we ordered fried pickles and they were all falling apart from the batter. It wasn't even stuck to the pickle, the onion rings had zero batter they were disgusting.Maybe it was sitting there before they brought it out. The pizza was warm as well. Everything was just room temperature as if it had been sitting on the counter for a while before the waitress brought the food out. We had to continuously ask the waitress for drinks and every time we would ask her for something she would always forget it or would take forever to bring it to us. This place is too expensive for the food not to be hot when you get it. The only thing that was OK was the three beers my dad had. Definitely would not be returning. I've been here a couple of times food is always just ok, mainly I keep coming back for the beers and because well sadly el Paso doesn't have a lot of options to eat in a patio which is something I really enjoy. Today my partner and I came to have some food in their patio, we saw they were charging a $10 fee per person for a fight we didn't even were aware of we paid the fee and went in just to find out there was no more sitting available, some people were saving table's for 10 by themselves. When we told the person in the front about the situation and asked why he didn't let us know before charging about the sitting situation since we just wanted to eat and would leave before the fight even started just shrugged his shoulders. Did not give the money back at all. We also found out that a guy at the bar who was already sitting eating got charged when he stated he was just about to finish his food and leave. That said, I don't recommend and will not come back it's so sad the way they just tried to take a couple of bucks when we were not even staying to watch the fight that was happening...

It was a little expensive but was ok. Some of the beer we asked for was not available. The waitress was nice and gave us some useful suggestions on beers. They were short handed so the service wasn't the greatest . The manager walked by our table and we asked for our drinks, he didn't like to be interrupted but he went ahead and got us our drinks. Our food was getting cold from waiting on our drinks. We gave him some feedback and he was obviously annoyed with it. He didn't apologize, he just rolled his eyes and said is there anything else I can do for you, and walked off. Not professional at all. The feedback we gave him comes from 18 years of management experience and 10 years of waitress experience, it wasn't meant to scold him but obviously struck a nerve. I guess the truth hurts. Over all the waitress was personable food, was great, beer selection was nice however management was chaotic.
