Eat Fantastic — Restaurant in El Segundo

Our auditors recently conducted an independent review of Eat Fantastic.

The experience began positively, with plenty of parking available and wheelchair-accessible entrances. The outside of the restaurant was clean and inviting, setting a welcoming first impression. The health score (Grade A) was clearly posted, which reflects a strong commitment to food safety.

Upon entering, we were greeted right away. Ordering at the front made the process smooth and convenient, especially since it allows for an easy exit after dining. The staff worked well together and were consistently friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

Food service was impressively quick, with meals arriving in under 10 minutes. We also observed that the chefs wore gloves while preparing food, which reinforced good hygiene practices.

There were a few areas that could be improved. Employees were not wearing visible name tags, which made it harder to identify staff. Additionally, the restrooms were in poor condition at the time of inspection, though we did note that a worker appeared to be preparing to clean them.

Overall, Eat Fantastic showed many strengths in customer service, cleanliness in dining areas, and efficiency in food delivery. We look forward to conducting another random follow-up audit to get a fuller picture and provide a more balanced long-term performance score.

My first time here, I had a late lunch and this was the closest place to me that looked good. I came here and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with extra lettuce. It also had different burgers and desserts. Their ice cream looked pretty good, I will have to come back in the future to try some

The wait wasn’t too long, there was a few orders in front of me.

When I got my sandwich, I was surprised they gave me a bunch of chopped lettuce in my sandwich because some stores just makes them quick and throws in the ingredient to make the food.

The food was pretty good! I enjoyed it! It came with bun, crispy chicken, tomato, pickles, and lettuce. The sandwich was a good sized sandwich. I had to open my mouth wide open to take a bite.

The chicken was pretty good size for the price. I thought it was delicious! I wouldn’t say it was the best crispy chicken I ever had since I definitely had better where they focus more on crispy chicken sandwich, but this place is pretty good!

Beautiful looking food with a bland taste. I should have taken photos when I visited but I honestly thought I would come back a few more times but after two visits I realize this is not a good value. Their food looks amazing but the food is soulless at best. I really wanted to like this spot considering how close it is and how nice the area is but I can’t come back knowing I’ll be disappointed. The first time I got a breakfast burrito which was loaded with salt. Next time I went back for waffles which had absolutely no flavor. Bacon tasted stale. My daughter had French toast which looked amazing but she said it tasted meh. This is coming from a teenager who just likes sweet things so I knew something was up when she decided to toss half away. I may go back to try the burgers but I’m hesitant...
