The new location we decided to try it out on 10 Feb 2024. Place looks nice service was fast to a hibachi table. Nice staff. The sald was just ice berg and the ginger sald dressing was to sweet and tasted of commercial cheap dressing, the ginger drewsing you get at food lion or walmart the Makoto brand is 100 times better and traditional. I had the steak n scallop with an extra order of shrimp hibachi and the wife had the chicken and shrimp. The food overall was mediocre at best. The chef was ok but have had way better in the past for guest engagement. Was served the noodles that I didn't order. The miso soup was flat cold and no flavor very bland and was tough. The hot tea I ordered was very weak even after letting it steep for about 10 minutes. The vegetables were ok but the carrot and zucchini were cut a bit to big and were still a little raw. The steak was supposed to be medium rare but was medium and became a little tough after letting it rest. The shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. The scallop was ok but needed to be cooked just. Little bit more so it wouldn't be a super soft cook. Wasn't raw but was still under cooked. The chicken was dry and over cooked. The chef used way too much oil on everything and the fried rice was swimming in oil. Also there was only store bought yum yum sauce and no soy ginger sauce for the dipping bowl for the service.Just after the meal was finished being served the wait staff brought take away boxes. Hadn't even started eating really. Seem to be getting rushed to eat and leave. The price wasn't to high but the quality needs to be worked on and improved. With the ending result I won't be back. I would not reccomend unless you just want a super quick hibachi dinner and don't...

My husband and I ate here for a special night out and were not disappointed. We ate in the dining room and ordered off the menu. The service was outstanding, all the way from the hostess who seated us to the young men who brought the dinners out. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, especially to my husband who is not really and adventurous eater. The environment was cozy and clean.

We had the two different dumplings (gyoza and shumai) as an appetizer and the shrimp tempura and pork katsu dinners. Everything arrived promptly, hot and fresh and the portions were large enough to ensure that even my healthy appetite hubby had plenty to eat with some left to take home.

We really enjoyed our dinner and the experience. The only fault I could find was that the service was perhaps a little too quick and efficient. From appetizer to soup to salad to entree, everything came out very quickly. It was have been nice to incorporate a little pause between course. We didn't get the feeling that we were being rushed through dinner, just that the service was...

I wish you can accommodate people with gluten and other sensitivity. I'm not sure if this was communication problem or the waitress didn't do his job. I try to get something gluten free and no seaweed. I will like glass nuddles or other gluten free nuddles. He went to ask and said don't have it. He sugested rice with fish and crab..I said ok , but no crab, give me scallops and some ginger. Everyone on my table 7 people got their dish but not me. He came to apologize that the computer didn't work ok and they will get my dish right away. Everyone finished eating and I got bowl of plain rice, raw salmon pieces and seaweed and soy sauce on side!!! I said no seaweed and no soy sauce!!! give me some broccol instead the seaweed. He took it back, bring me the same bowl of plain rice with raw fish, nothing else. I went hungry and get out hungry, and my husband paid for it!!!. I couldn't swallow just rice with raw fish..at least if it was cooked and some veggies in it, but no, nothing there for me to eat...very...

I am very disappointed with this place. I gave a great review for them a few weeks ago as some of my followers may remember . Oh the food is great 👍, the service is spot on. Prices are very reasonable . But , I was very set back to the policy that I was subjected to on Friday night . My daughter and her two beautiful daughters eat here quite often , so , they ask my wife and I to join them , ( we said why yes , we would love to ) so , we say two checks please . Mind you the sushi 🍣 is really good . But , we get our check and , it has gratuity attached to the total , I'm like WHAT ? . My daughters check has it on hers as well . 18% . I ask why ? Because you have 5 or more people . Um 5 ? . I think not , I would have paid more tip if you would have 1 . Said something about adding it without my consent or just let me decide what the service and food is worth tipping . I'm done, unless they can speak with me and resolve this issue with me . Diners beware . TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED AND , DISSATISFIED

Having been to the old location several times. We were excited to go to the new location. So this was our first time at the new location. Service and server were great! My food was pretty good. Soft shelled crab appetizer. I had it 2 times at the old location, and it was amazing. This time at the new location, it was heavily breaded but okay. I also had the sushi and sashimi, and it was great. 😋 Miso was a little different as well. But good. The husband had the gyoza appetizer and hibachi steak. He thought the gyoza was great. Hibachi steak not so much. He said there was more flavor at the old location. I tasted his rice, noodles, and steak. I agreed with him. Steak cubes were tender, though. Just under seasoned or something. Bland is what we both described as his hibachi meal. The husband has been asking me to go there with him since the new location opened. We were finally able to go. I'm glad we went and may give it another try.

I went to Volcano for the first time and the experience was okay, I told the first lady that I wanted to eat in so she told me to go straight and order. The people that work there didn't make me feel too welcomed, it was awkward ordering. I ended up not wanting to stay and eat so when I asked for a takeout box they told me that my food was already going in one. Now for the food, I ordered a special (dinner) Pork Katsudon with fried rice, it looks good but the pork was soggy, it's suppose to be crispy because of the breading and the egg wasn't cooked, some places was not in some areas it wasn't. The fried rice was bland, I like the miso soup and the sauce that came with the Katsudon. This wasn't worth the almost $20 I spent.
